Corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless — the most versatile, weldable LPBF alloy. Fully dense, near-wrought properties for marine, medical, food-grade and chemical hardware.
316L316L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel with molybdenum for superior pitting and crevice-corrosion resistance. Printed by LPBF it reaches over 99.5% density with mechanical properties at or above wrought, excellent weldability and full biocompatibility — the best-value everyday metal for fluid, marine and medical parts. Non-magnetic and readily passivated, electro-polished or CNC-finished after printing.
