Large parts at high throughput

A 1000 × 500 × 450 mm bed and dual CO₂ lasers at up to 15 L/h make the HT1001P-2 a high-volume, large-format production machine. CO₂ is a proven, cost-effective route to that throughput, and the 220 °C chamber runs demanding materials. It's the platform when part size and volume are both the constraint.

About this product

The Farsoon HT1001P-2 is a large-format, high-throughput SLS system: dual 100 W CO₂ lasers drive build rates up to 15 L/h across a metre-scale 39.4 × 19.7 × 17.7 in / 1000 × 500 × 450 mm build, with a 220 °C chamber for high-performance polymers. It pairs an open platform with a modular build-station architecture for continuous production. Sold, installed and supported in the US by Additive Plus.

Why production teams choose the HT1001P-2

Large parts and high throughput on a proven CO₂ platform — with open process control.

Metre-scale build volume

A 1000 × 500 × 450 mm chamber prints large single parts or high-nest batches that a 400 mm system can’t — the reason to move up to the HT1001P class.

Up to 15 L/h throughput

Two 100 W CO₂ lasers scanning in parallel reach build rates up to 15 L/h — high-volume production capacity across the large bed.

High-temperature, broad materials

A 220 °C chamber runs PA12 nylons, mineral- and carbon-filled grades, glass-filled FS6140GF, TPU and Ultrasint PA6 — a wide production material range.

Open, modular platform

Full parameter control via BuildStar / MakeStar®, an expert/production UI, and a modular build-station architecture for continuous operation.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

What size parts can the HT1001P-2 build?
The Farsoon HT1001P-2 has a 1000 × 500 × 450 mm (39.4 × 19.7 × 17.7 in) build volume — a metre in its longest axis. That lets it print large single parts such as ducts, covers and structural components, or nest large batches of smaller parts across the bed for high-volume production. It is the reason teams move up from a 400 mm-class system.
What throughput does the HT1001P-2 achieve?
The HT1001P-2 builds at up to 15 L/h — its two 100 W CO₂ lasers scan in parallel across the large bed, with scan speeds to 15.2 m/s. That is high-volume capacity for a large-format machine. Real throughput depends on part geometry, layer thickness and nesting, so Additive Plus can estimate build time for a representative production job during quoting.
What is the difference between the CO₂ HT1001P-2 and the fiber HT1001P?
Both share the 1000 × 500 × 450 mm large-format build and 220 °C chamber. The HT1001P-2 uses dual CO₂ lasers reaching up to 15 L/h — a proven, cost-effective route to high throughput. The FLIGHT HT1001P uses 2–4 fiber lasers for finer detail and scalable throughput on high-performance materials. Additive Plus can compare them for your specific parts and materials.
What materials can the HT1001P-2 run?
The HT1001P-2 runs PA12 nylons (FS3300PA, FS4100PA), mineral- and carbon-filled nylons (FS3250MF, FS3150CF), glass-bead and glass-filled nylon (FS3401GB, FS6140GF), TPU (FS1088A, FS1092A) and Ultrasint PA6, with a 220 °C chamber for higher-temperature grades. Because the platform is open, other qualified powders can be run — ask our engineer about a specific material.
Is the HT1001P-2 an open or closed material system?
The HT1001P-2 is a fully open platform. You control laser, scan and thermal parameters through BuildStar and MakeStar®, and you are not locked to a single vendor's powder. It also switches between an expert mode for process development and a production mode for repeatable runs. Additive Plus helps develop and validate parameters for each material and large-part geometry.
What is the modular architecture and how much space does it need?
The HT1001P-2 is modular: the build station can operate on its own (2680 × 2000 × 2980 mm, ~3,000 kg) or as part of a full module (5585 × 2000 × 2980 mm, ~4,200 kg) that supports higher throughput and more continuous operation. Additive Plus reviews your facility during installation planning so space, power and material handling are ready for the configuration you choose.
What power and support does the HT1001P-2 need?
The HT1001P-2 runs on 380–400 V three-phase power; for US sites it ships with the required transformer and needs a 22–28 °C ambient environment. As the US partner, Additive Plus handles module and build-station installation, operator training and local warranty service, with a named engineer replying within 24 hours.
