A general-purpose high-density polyethylene resin designed for injection molding. This grade offers an excellent balance of easy processing, high toughness, and good environmental stress crack resistance. It features low odor and excellent stability during processing.

Applications

  • Industrial Uses: Corrosion-resistant piping, plastic lumber.

  • Specialized Use: Excellent as a purging material for cleaning injection molding machines between production runs.

Processing Notes

  • Primary Method: Injection Molding

  • Typical Melt Temperature: 380 – 520 °F (193 – 271 °C)

  • Mold Temperature: 50 – 100 °F (10 – 38 °C)

  • Drying: Not typically required; store in a dry environment.
