What is this silicone spatula used for?
The Nexa3D silicone spatula (P/N 50284-01), 4 × 10 in, is used to handle uncured resin, scrape and clean the vat, and move material during resin 3D-printing workflows. The soft silicone blade won't scratch the vat film. It's a general resin-handling tool for use with Nexa3D resin printers.
Will it scratch the vat film or membrane?
No — the blade is flexible silicone, chosen so it clears resin and cleans the vat without scratching the film the way a metal tool can. It is also chemical-resistant to uncured resin and IPA. For heavy build-plate scraping, pair it with a stainless painter's tool.
