What your process engineer actually checks
Validated, load-and-print cure profiles
Every resin ships with a tested exposure/cure profile for the printers we sell and a datasheet covering viscosity, cure energy, mechanical properties, and shelf life. Dial the build in once, reorder the same chemistry.
An materials engineer on the line
Questions on layer adhesion, post-cure schedules, elongation, yellowing, or chemical resistance? A materials engineer answers directly. Most replies in under 4 hours, NDA standard.

Print the pattern. Burn it out clean. Cast the metal.
Additive Plus Castable Resin is an engineering-grade photopolymer formulated for lost-wax and investment casting. It replaces carved wax: print intricate, high-resolution patterns on your resin printer, invest them, and burn them out with no ash residue — so the metal captures every detail of the print. Formulated for jewelers, dental labs, watchmakers and engineers who cast small precision parts.
Why casters choose it
Burnout without mold cracks
The resin thermally decomposes into gas — it vaporizes without expansion, so investment molds stay intact and cavities come out clean, with no ash to scrub.
Detail that survives casting
Low viscosity (90–110 mPa·s) lays down consistent layers: fine filigree, sharp prongs, crisp lettering and micro-features carry through to the final metal.
Strong enough to handle
A balance of strength and slight elasticity (Shore 72D, up to 34 % elongation) means patterns survive washing, spruing and handling without snapping.
Consistent batch to batch
Manufactured to a controlled spec, free from inclusions and precipitate — exposure times and results stay predictable from can to can.
How it works
From file to metal in three steps
Applications
Fine jewelry
Rings, pendants, bracelets and signets with intricate detail — custom commissions and small-batch production.
Dental & orthodontic labs
Crowns, bridges, copings and appliances cast with accurate margins.
Watchmaking & micro-parts
Watch faces, casings and small mechanical components with tight features.
Art & industrial R&D
Bronze and silver sculpture, plus investment-cast patterns for functional metal prototypes.

FAQ
Which printers can run this resin?
Any resin printer with a light source at or below 410 nm: desktop and professional 405 nm LCD/MSLA and DLP machines, LSPc systems, and SLA laser platforms. If you are unsure about your machine, ask us — a materials engineer will confirm compatibility.
How do I get a clean, ash-free burnout?
Follow a standard investment-casting burnout schedule with a full ramp and hold. The resin decomposes into gaseous byproducts and leaves the cavity clean. Common issues and fixes are covered in our investment casting troubleshooting guide.
Is it suitable for fine jewelry with filigree?
Yes — low viscosity and high print resolution preserve fine wires, prongs and textures, and the pattern is elastic enough to survive spruing without breakage. More on the process in our article on castable resin for metal art.
How long does the resin keep?
12 months in the original sealed container, stored cool and dark. Reseal the can promptly after use.
How does the July 2-for-1 offer work?
Add any two bottles of Castable Resin to your cart (order of $80+) and enter code JULY2FOR1 at checkout — the discount takes off the price of one. The offer runs through July 31, 2026, while stock lasts.

From process engineers running Additive Plus Castable - 3D Printing Resin
Unedited feedback from customers who reorder Additive Plus Castable - 3D Printing Resin.
Cure profile loaded straight into our printer and hit spec on the first build. We stopped burning plates on test prints.
Asked about post-cure for a functional part on a Friday. A materials engineer replied Monday with actual elongation data.
Batch-to-batch viscosity is identical. Surface finish is repeatable run after run — no resurprises.
