What your process engineer actually checks

Locked, traceable lot chemistry

Every lot ships with a COA documenting PSD, sphericity, flow rate, apparent density, and full chemistry — and a lot number you can trace. Aerospace and medical teams reorder 4+ times without re-qualifying.

Qualified parameters, not just powder

Validated parameter sets for EOS M 290, Renishaw 500Q, SLM 280, and our own AO Metal LPBF ship with the order. Load the profile and hit density on the first build — no parameter-development burn.

About this product

PowderRange® CCM-MC is a cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy powder developed for metal additive manufacturing using LPBF, EBM, and DED processes. It is a high-nitrogen, middle-carbon wrought version of ASTM F75, offering enhanced strength, wear resistance, and fatigue performance compared to standard low-carbon CoCrMo alloys.

Manufactured using vacuum induction melting (VIM) followed by nitrogen gas atomization, PowderRange® CCM-MC delivers excellent powder cleanliness, controlled chemistry, and reliable printability. The alloy exhibits excellent weldability in laser additive manufacturing and can be processed using argon or nitrogen shielding gas.

PowderRange® CCM-MC maintains high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 1112 °F (600 °C) and demonstrates strong resistance to corrosion and wear across aggressive service environments. When specified with nickel content below 0.1%, the material is biocompatible and non-magnetic, making it suitable for MRI-compatible medical devices.

This balanced combination of strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and AM processability makes CCM-MC an ideal choice for small, highly loaded biomedical components and demanding industrial applications.

Same lot 4 times in a row. We stopped re-running parameter sweeps after the second order — density was identical to the first build.

Asked about ferrite content on a Friday. A materials engineer answered Monday morning with actual data, not a sales pitch. That's why we keep ordering.

COA matches the bottle. PSD and flow are exactly what was on the sheet — we run it on a Renishaw 500Q and it hits density on the first try.
