Which membrane does the Nexa3D NXE 400 / 400Pro use?

The NXE 400 and NXE 400Pro use the Nexa3D Everlast-2 membrane, and this listing is the 2-pack. The Everlast-2 is the self-lubricating interface at the bottom of the resin vat — the surface each layer cures against in Nexa3D's LSPc process. It is specific to the NXE platform: the XiP and XiP Pro desktop printers take different Everlast membranes, so order by printer model to be sure you get the right part.

How long does the Everlast-2 membrane last?

Each Everlast-2 membrane is rated to exceed 50,000 layers and process roughly 20 liters of resin — up to 25 times the working life of standard membrane films. Real-world life depends on the resins you run, your layer settings, and how the membrane is handled during vat cleaning; abrasive wiping, scraping cured material off the surface, or aggressive solvents will all shorten it. With two membranes in the pack, most NXE cells keep one in service and one on the shelf.

When should I replace my Everlast-2 membrane?

Replace the Everlast-2 when print quality drops off, when parts repeatedly fail at the membrane interface, when you can see clouding, scratching or permanent deformation in the film, or as you approach the rated layer count.
