Description

A-Powder 18Ni300 Maraging Steel is a premium nickel–cobalt maraging steel powder developed for LPBF additive manufacturing. Produced via vacuum induction gas atomization (VIGA), the powder features spherical particles, tight particle size distribution (15–53 µm), and low oxygen content, providing smooth recoating, consistent layer fusion, and predictable mechanical properties. The alloy composition (Ni balance, 18 % Ni, 5 % Co, minor Mo, Ti, Al) allows heat treatment to achieve ultra-high strength (UTS ~1900 MPa) while maintaining ductility and toughness. Small-batch flexibility, rapid delivery, and full traceable documentation from AO Metal make A-Powder 18Ni300 ideal for aerospace, defense, and critical industrial engineering applications.
