Which printer is this xMODEL17-Clear cartridge compatible with?
This 1.5 kg version of xMODEL17-Clear is formulated for the Nexa3D XiP desktop SLA printer and is a genuine Nexa3D resin validated for that system. For NXE-series printers, order the 5 kg bottle of xMODEL17-Clear instead.
Does xMODEL17-Clear stay clear over time?
xMODEL17-Clear prints with high optical clarity out of the wash-and-cure step. As with all clear photopolymers, final transparency and yellowing resistance depend on post-cure and finishing such as sanding and clear-coating; for the most optical result a clear coat is recommended. It is a prototyping resin, not a certified optical component.
What is xMODEL17-Clear used for?
It suits transparent prototypes where you need to see internal features or fluid flow — fluidic devices, lenses for form and fit review, light pipes, and clear housings. Fine feature detail and fast print speed make it a practical everyday clear resin.
