Description

Celcon® M270™ is a high-flow, low molecular weight acetal copolymer (POM) specifically engineered for superior moldability in intricate, multi-cavity, or hard-to-fill molds. This grade offers excellent processability while maintaining the key acetal properties of high strength, stiffness, and good chemical resistance, making it ideal for producing complex, precision mechanical components.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High Flow & Superior Moldability: Designed to easily fill multi-cavity, intricate, or hard-to-fill molds, reducing shorts and improving yield.
  • Excellent Stiffness & Strength: Provides the high mechanical strength and rigidity expected from acetal for load-bearing parts.
  • Good Toughness: Offers balanced impact resistance for durable components.
  • Low Moisture Absorption: Provides dimensional stability in humid environments.
  • Good Chemical Resistance: Withstands a wide range of chemicals and solvents.

Primary Applications

  • Complex Gears and Bearings
  • Precision Mechanical Components
  • Automotive Fuel System Parts
  • Fluid Handling Components
  • Consumer Appliance Parts
  • Fasteners and Connectors
