What your process engineer actually checks

Accuracy you do not have to chase

PRO9499 is tuned for the Nexa3D XiP LSPc profile, so fine features and dimensions repeat without parameter hunting. At 506 cP it pours and self-levels cleanly, and the matte white surface shows detail honestly instead of hiding it under gloss.

Rigid enough to be useful

77 Shore D, 95 MPa flexural stress at yield and a 2164 MPa flexural modulus put PRO9499 in ABS-like territory — stiff enough for jigs, fixtures and housings rather than display-only models. Post-cure fully to reach those numbers.

A materials engineer on the line

Not sure whether PRO9499 is enough for your duty cycle, or whether you need the tougher xPRO1100 or flame-retardant xPRO9400-FR? Ask the people who run these resins. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.

About this product

Nexa3D PRO9499 White is a cost-effective, rigid general-purpose photopolymer for the Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro LSPc printers. Co-developed with Henkel and sold by Henkel as LOCTITE 3D PRO9499 General Purpose White, it is built for high-accuracy models, functional prototypes and shop-floor jigs — and it keeps a clean matte white finish after post-cure.

Nexa3D PRO9499 White general-purpose resin 1.5 kg bottle for XiP and XiP Pro LSPc printers
PRO9499 White — 1.5 kg bottle for the Nexa3D XiP family.

Why engineers choose PRO9499 White

The everyday resin for the XiP: accurate, predictable and cheap enough to run all week.

Built for first-time success

A general-purpose formulation tuned for the XiP LSPc profile — fine feature resolution and repeatable dimensional accuracy without parameter hunting.

Rigid, ABS-like behaviour

Shore 77 D with 95 MPa flexural stress at yield and 2164 MPa flexural modulus — stiff enough for fixtures and housings, not a brittle model resin.

Matte white that stays white

Holds a clean, non-glossy white surface through post-cure — ideal for presentation models, and an easy base for paint or primer.

Cost-effective at volume

The value resin in the Nexa3D range — available in 1.5 kg and 5 kg bottles so an iterating team is not rationing material.

How you run it

Standard Nexa3D LSPc workflow. Post-cure is what develops the published mechanical properties.

Step 01
Print

Load PRO9499 on the Nexa3D XiP or XiP Pro (405 nm LSPc). Viscosity is 506 cP at 25 °C, so it pours and self-levels without fuss.

Step 02
Wash

Wash in xClean, then IPA. Keep to the limits — no more than 2 minutes in xClean and 5 minutes in IPA — so fine detail and edges stay crisp.

Step 03
Post-cure

Cure to spec: 1 × 30 min in XiP Cure, 2 × 15 min in xCure, or 2 × 7 min at 50 % in xCure Desktop. Properties below assume a full cure.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

What is PRO9499 White actually used for — is it an injection-molding resin?
PRO9499 White is a general-purpose rigid prototyping resin, not an injection-molding or sacrificial-mould material. Henkel sells the same formulation as LOCTITE 3D PRO9499 General Purpose White, and Nexa3D positions it as a cost-effective modelling material for a wide range of applications: accurate concept and presentation models, functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, enclosures and master patterns. If you are looking for a resin that prints a dissolvable or breakable tool for real injection moulding, that is a different product family — Nexa3D's xMOLD is the soluble mould resin for Freeform Injection Moulding. Tell us the end use and we will point you at the right one.
Which 3D printers is PRO9499 White compatible with?
PRO9499 White is supplied for the Nexa3D LSPc platform and is confirmed for the XiP and XiP Pro, which cure at 405 nm. The technical data sheet references the XiP Cure, xCure and xCure Desktop post-curing units, so the whole workflow is specified around those machines. We do not claim compatibility with the Nexa3D NXE 400 family on this page because the data sheet we work from does not list it — if you run an NXE and want to use PRO9499, contact us and we will confirm with Nexa3D before you order rather than let you buy on an assumption.
What washing and post-curing does PRO9499 require?
Wash printed PRO9499 parts in xClean first, then in IPA. Observe the time limits — no more than about 2 minutes in xClean and 5 minutes in IPA — because over-soaking softens fine detail and rounds sharp edges. Then post-cure fully: 1 × 30 minutes in XiP Cure, 2 × 15 minutes in xCure, or 2 × 7 minutes at 50 % power in xCure Desktop. Post-curing is not optional. Every mechanical figure published for PRO9499 — the 40 MPa tensile strength, 95 MPa flexural stress at yield and 77 Shore D hardness — is measured on fully post-cured specimens.
Is PRO9499 rigid enough for jigs, fixtures and functional parts?
For most shop-floor tooling, yes. PRO9499 post-cures to 77 Shore D with a flexural modulus of 2164 MPa and 95 MPa flexural stress at yield, which puts it in rigid ABS-like territory — stiff enough for locating fixtures, holders, enclosures and assembly aids. Its limits are heat and impact: heat deflection sits around 63 °C and notched Izod impact is 28.7 J/m with 8 % elongation at break, so it is not the choice for parts that get hot, take repeated knocks or need to flex. For those duties step up to xPRO1100 Black, which is both stiffer and far more heat resistant.
How does PRO9499 compare with xPRO1100 Black and xPRO9400-FR?
PRO9499 White is the value general-purpose option: accurate, rigid, affordable, ideal for high-iteration work. xPRO1100 Black is the engineering grade — roughly 71 MPa tensile against 40 MPa, a much higher glass transition and far better heat resistance, for parts that must behave like injection-moulded thermoplastic. xPRO9400-FR is the specialist: halogen-free flame retardant, UL 94 V-0 at 2 mm, for rail and electronics enclosures where burn behaviour is specified. All three run on the same Nexa3D XiP platform, so you can switch grade without changing machine. Pick on duty cycle and budget, not on colour.
Why do Nexa3D and LOCTITE quote different numbers for PRO9499?
Because they publish against different cure protocols. Henkel's LOCTITE-branded literature quotes roughly 52 MPa tensile strength and a higher heat deflection temperature; the Nexa3D technical data sheet for the same resin reports 40 MPa tensile and around 63 °C. Neither is wrong — they are measured after different post-cure routines on different equipment. Because Additive Plus supplies the Nexa3D-branded product with the Nexa3D LSPc profile, this page publishes the Nexa3D figures. Do not average the two sets or quote the higher numbers against a Nexa3D cure cycle. If you need the material qualified to a specific protocol, talk to our materials engineers first.
How should PRO9499 be stored, and which bottle size should I order?
Store PRO9499 in its closed original bottle, away from daylight and UV, at normal workshop temperature. Shake before pouring so pigment and fillers are evenly distributed. Handle the liquid resin with gloves and eye protection and cure or dispose of waste resin properly — uncured photopolymer should never go down a drain. On size: the 1.5 kg bottle suits a bench XiP and occasional printing, while the 5 kg bottle is the better value for a XiP Pro or a team printing weekly. If you are standardising several machines, ask us for volume pricing rather than ordering bottles one at a time.
