What your process engineer actually checks
Heat resistance that survives the cure schedule
HDT 112 °C at 0.45 MPa and Tg 141 °C are post-cure numbers — they need the optional 2-hour 100 °C thermal treatment after UV cure. We share the full wash and cure schedule so your parts land on the datasheet instead of somewhere near it.
A materials engineer on the line
Resin selection, exposure tuning, post-cure and finishing — answered by engineers who print Nexa3D LSPc in-house. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.
Nexa3D xPRO1100 Black is a rigid, heat-resistant engineering photopolymer developed with BASF Forward AM — built to print functional prototypes and end-use parts that stay stiff, tough, and dimensionally stable under load and warmth.
Why engineers choose xPRO1100 Black
Stiffness, toughness, and heat resistance measured on the Nexa3D TDS — not marketing estimates.
Rigid and tough
Up to 125 MPa flexural strength, ~3010 MPa tensile modulus, and 84 Shore D — parts hold tolerance under mechanical load.
Heat resistant
HDT up to 112 °C at 0.45 MPa (93 °C at 1.82 MPa) after a 2-hour 100 °C post-cure. Glass transition 141 °C.
BASF-engineered chemistry
Low 280 cP viscosity for clean, detailed prints; cytotoxicity ISO 10993-5 pass. Co-developed with BASF Forward AM.
Fast LSPc workflow
Runs on Nexa3D XiP, XiP Pro, and NXE 400Pro with validated NexaX profiles — repeatable, high-speed LSPc printing.
From bottle to finished part
Follow the Nexa3D wash-and-cure recipe to hit the published properties.
Print on LSPc
Load the xPRO1100 profile in NexaX and print on your Nexa3D XiP, XiP Pro, or NXE 400Pro.
Wash
Clean in xClean, then IPA. Do not soak beyond 2 minutes in xClean or 5 minutes in IPA.
Cure
UV post-cure (XiP Cure + xCure). Add a 2-hour 100 °C thermal treatment for peak heat resistance.
Technical specifications
Values from the Nexa3D xPRO1100-Black TDS (2024 v5), fully post-cured. Highest HDT and modulus require the optional 2-hour 100 °C thermal post-treatment.
