What your surgical team actually checks

Stiff, clear, sterilizable

KeyGuide holds drill trajectory with a 2400 MPa flexural modulus and 105 MPa flexural strength, stays clear so the surgeon can confirm seating, and autoclaves through your normal instrument workflow. Class I biocompatible — ISO 10993-5 and 10993-10 pass.

About this product

KeyGuide is a stiff, biocompatible (Class I) surgical-guide resin for printing accurate, autoclavable implant and pilot-drill guides on Nexa3D LSPc printers. Clear for maximum intra-oral visibility and stiff enough to hold drill trajectory under guided-surgery loads. Supplied in a 1 kg bottle for the NXE 400 / NXE 400 Pro.

Why surgeons and labs choose KeyGuide

A guide material that keeps the osteotomy on plan.

Holds drill trajectory

Flexural modulus 2400 MPa and flexural strength 105 MPa keep the guide from flexing under drilling load, so the osteotomy follows the planned path.

Class I biocompatible

Passes ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and ISO 10993-10 (irritation and sensitization) for safe short-term contact in the oral cavity.

Clear for visibility

A clear guide lets the surgeon confirm full seating on teeth or tissue and watch the site through the guide during placement.

Autoclavable

Guides can be steam-sterilized before surgery, so they go into the operatory through your normal instrument-processing workflow.

From plan to sterile guide

Validated print and cure profiles ship with the resin — no parameter guesswork.

Step 01
Print on LSPc

Export the guide from your planning software and run KeyGuide on your Nexa3D NXE-series printer (LSPc, 385–405 nm) with the validated exposure profile.

Step 02
Wash & post-cure

Wash in IPA, air-dry, then final-cure under a 250–390 nm unit to reach full stiffness and biocompatibility.

Step 03
Sterilize

Fit-check on the model, insert sleeves if your protocol uses them, then autoclave the guide ready for surgery.

Common questions

Which printers is KeyGuide for NX compatible with?
KeyGuide for NX is formulated for Nexa3D NXE-series LSPc printers using UV wavelengths of 385–405 nm and prints with Nexa3D's validated exposure profile. This 1 kg bottle is the NX/NXE version; a separate XiP-tuned bottle is available for the XiP desktop printer. If you're unsure which version matches your machine, our dental materials engineer will confirm before you order.
Is KeyGuide biocompatible, and can it be autoclaved?
Yes. KeyGuide is a Class I biocompatible resin that passes ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and ISO 10993-10 (irritation and sensitization). Finished, fully post-cured guides are autoclavable, so they can be steam-sterilized through your normal instrument-processing workflow before surgery.
Is KeyGuide stiff enough for fully guided implant surgery?
KeyGuide is formulated specifically to resist the forces of guided surgery: flexural modulus 2400 MPa and flexural strength 105 MPa. That stiffness keeps the guide from flexing under drilling load so the osteotomy follows the planned trajectory. It accepts metal sleeves where your protocol calls for them.
Why is KeyGuide clear?
The translucent/clear formulation lets the surgeon verify that the guide is fully seated on teeth or tissue and observe the surgical site through the guide during placement. Clarity is a clinical safety feature, not a cosmetic one.
How do I wash and post-cure KeyGuide?
After printing on your Nexa3D LSPc printer, wash the guide in IPA and air-dry, then final-cure in a post-cure unit using 250–390 nm UV. Full post-cure is what develops the stiffness and biocompatibility the guide depends on, so follow the Keystone KeyGuide time and temperature guidance before sterilizing.
How should I store the resin and what is its shelf life?
Store KeyGuide in its original sealed bottle away from light and heat, at room temperature, and re-seal after each pour to prevent premature curing. Refer to the bottle label and Keystone data sheet for the exact expiration date; we rotate stock so you receive bottles with usable shelf life.
Can I order a trial bottle or volume/PO pricing?
Yes. Order a single 1 kg bottle to qualify KeyGuide in your guided-surgery workflow. For multi-bottle standing orders or an official purchase order, use the volume-quote button and our team will set up pricing and lot supply for your lab, practice or DSO group.
