Sealed cartridges with lot traceability

Every xMODEL15-White cartridge ships sealed with its batch number recorded, so a print that drifts can be traced back to a lot instead of guessed at. Validated LSPc exposure and cure settings for XiP and XiP Pro come with the order.

About this product

Nexa3D xMODEL15-White is an economical 405 nm LSPc photopolymer for fast, high-detail concept and appearance models. The white base takes primer, paint and plating, and shows fine geometry crisply under studio lighting.

Nexa3D xMODEL15-White 1.5 kg cartridge – LSPc photopolymer resin for XiP concept models
xMODEL15-White in the 1.5 kg cartridge format for Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro.

Why engineers choose xMODEL15-White

A low-cost model resin that still prints sharp edges and survives handling.

Fine detail in white

White pigment holds crisp edges, small text and thin ribs, so review models read clearly under studio lighting.

Built for 405 nm LSPc

Viscosity of 200–300 mPa·s at 30 °C keeps the membrane fed, so full plates finish at LSPc layer rates.

Rigid enough to handle

55 MPa tensile strength, 1800 MPa modulus and 78–80 D Shore hardness stand up to sanding, drilling and passing around a table.

Paint and plating base

The white body needs less primer than dark resins and hides seam lines, which shortens the route to a finished appearance model.

Compatible printers & post-processing

This 1.5 kg cartridge is the format for the Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro desktop LSPc printers. The same resin is also offered as a 5 kg bottle for the NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro, so a model shop can keep one material across desktop and production frames. Post-processing is short: wash in xClean followed by an IPA rinse, keeping total wash time under about five minutes, dry the part fully, then UV post-cure. Longer solvent soaks are not needed and can soften fine features, so hold the wash time and let the cure do the work.

Tell us your printer, target detail and finishing route — paint, plate or bare white — and a materials engineer will confirm whether xMODEL15-White or a stiffer grade fits, and which exposure profile to load. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

Which printers does Nexa3D xMODEL15-White work with?
xMODEL15-White in the 1.5 kg cartridge is made for the Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro desktop LSPc printers, which take sealed cartridges rather than open vats. The same xMODEL15 chemistry is supplied as a 5 kg bottle for the NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro, so a shop running both frames can standardise on one model resin. Load the validated xMODEL15 exposure profile in NexaX before the first job; we send it with the order. If you are not sure which format your printer takes, send us the serial number and a materials engineer will confirm it the same day.
What colors and pack sizes does xMODEL15 come in?
xMODEL15-White is stocked here as a 1.5 kg cartridge, the format the Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro accept. xMODEL15 is also produced in black, and in a 5 kg bottle for the NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro. White is the usual pick when the model will be primed, painted or plated, because it needs less primer than a dark resin and hides seam lines; black is preferred when the part is photographed bare and glare is a problem. Tell us the finish you are chasing and we will match the colour and pack size to it.
How do I wash and post-cure parts printed in xMODEL15-White?
Parts printed in xMODEL15-White wash in xClean followed by an IPA rinse, with total wash time kept under about five minutes. Dry the part completely, using compressed air on internal channels, then UV post-cure. The values in the property table, including 55 MPa tensile strength and 78–80 D Shore hardness, are reached after that cure, not straight off the plate. Avoid long solvent soaks: extra minutes in IPA soften thin features and small text without improving cleanliness. If you are setting up a new finishing line for xMODEL15-White, our engineers can walk through wash and cure timing with you.
What is xMODEL15-White best suited for?
xMODEL15-White is a model resin, best suited to concept models, appearance models, fit and assembly checks, light-duty jigs and marketing samples. It is chosen when the priority is fine detail and a low cost per part rather than mechanical performance: 55 MPa tensile strength, 10% elongation and an HDT of 58.3 °C at 0.45 MPa are ample for parts that sit on a bench or in a design review, but not for functional loading, heat exposure or repeated impact. For stiffer or engineering-grade work, ask us which other grade in the Nexa3D LSPc range fits your load case.
How should xMODEL15-White be stored?
Keep xMODEL15-White cartridges sealed, upright and out of daylight, since any 405 nm exposure starts curing the resin. Store at normal indoor room temperature, away from heaters and windows, and let a cold cartridge come up to room temperature before printing, because the 200–300 mPa·s viscosity at 30 °C is what the LSPc membrane is tuned for. Resin left in the printer between jobs should stay covered. We supply xMODEL15-White sealed and batch-traceable, so record the lot number if you need to tie printed parts back to a batch. The Safety Data Sheet covers handling and disposal.
Does xMODEL15-White carry any certifications?
No. xMODEL15-White carries no biocompatibility, medical or flame-rating certifications, and we will not imply otherwise — it is a general-purpose model and prototyping resin. If your application needs a certified material, the Nexa3D range has options: xMED412 for biocompatible applications and xMODEL 2505 for dental model workflows. The properties published for xMODEL15-White are test-method values under ASTM D638, D648, D2240, D570 and GB/T, which is not the same as a regulatory approval. Tell a materials engineer which standard you have to meet and we will say plainly whether a resin in the line qualifies.
Can I test xMODEL15-White before committing to volume?
Yes. Ask for the Nexa3D LSPc resin sample kit and print xMODEL15-White on your own XiP or XiP Pro before ordering in quantity, since that is the only honest way to judge detail, colour and finish on your own geometry. If the printer is not installed yet, we can print a benchmark part for you instead. Once you settle on xMODEL15-White, volume pricing and official purchase orders are supported for production accounts, and stock cartridges ship in 2 business days. Send us the geometry and the finish you need and we will set the test up.
