How is the vat container different from the resin vat?
On the XiP Pro, the resin vat carries the membrane the print peels from, while this container is the rigid outer tray that holds and seals that vat in the printer. If the membrane is worn you need the vat; if the outer tray is cracked or fouled you need this container.
Which printer is it for, and is it genuine?
It is a genuine Nexa3D vat container for the XiP Pro industrial printer, sized to seat and seal the vat assembly correctly. It is not the standard XiP part, so order it specifically for a XiP Pro.
When should the container be replaced?
Replace it when cracked, warped or so fouled with cured resin that it no longer holds the vat squarely or seals cleanly. Keeping a spare avoids taking a production XiP Pro offline over an inexpensive part.
