What does this vat container include — is the membrane in it?
This is the rigid outer resin vat container (tray) for the Nexa3D XiP. The Everlast membrane is a separate consumable and is not included, so order it alongside if yours needs replacing too. The container holds the membrane and resin and clamps into the printer's vat position.
When should I replace the vat container?
Replace the XiP vat container when it is cracked, warped, leaking, or so resin-stained it affects the print surface. A damaged container can leak resin and hold the membrane out of flat, which shows up as print defects. If you're unsure, send us a photo and we'll advise.
Is this for the XiP or the XiP Pro?
This container is for the Nexa3D XiP desktop resin 3D printer. The XiP Pro uses a different, larger vat container — if you run a XiP Pro, ask us and we'll point you to the correct part before you order.
