What it is and what it fits

The syringe barrel is the material cartridge of the Sygnis F-NIS 23151: you fill it with your paste, gel or ink, lock it in the printhead and the pneumatic adapter pushes the material out through the tip. The precision-fit adapter end attaches securely, the luer-lock thread at the other end takes dispensing tips and tip caps, and the transparent wall shows how much material is left.

Fill a barrel from the adapter end, or from the tip end with an optional luer-to-luer adapter. Many users keep spare barrels so each material has its own and there is no cross-contamination between runs.

“Can we use barrels we already have?”The F-NIS takes the 10 ml and 30/55 ml barrel standards with matching pneumatic adapters. These are the barrels Sygnis supplies with the machine, so the fit is known; for another brand, check the adapter end first.

“Can we pre-fill and store barrels?”Yes. Close the tip end with a luer-lock tip cap and the back with a barrel end cap for airtight storage and transport.

Which printer are the barrels for?

The Sygnis F-NIS 23151, all versions A to E. The 30 ml and 55 ml barrels go in the standard printhead; the 10 ml barrels go in the heated printhead of Versions C, D and E or a machine with the Heat Module.

Which sizes are available?

10 ml, 30 ml and 55 ml. Each pack contains one size; choose it in the size selector above the Add to cart button.

What connects to the barrel?

Luer-lock dispensing tips and luer-lock tip caps thread onto the tip end. The back takes the F-NIS pneumatic adapter, a piston and, for storage, a barrel end cap.

Yes. Seal the tip with a luer-lock tip cap and the back with a barrel end cap; the transparent wall lets you check the level before loading.
