About this product

The Sygnis F-NIS 23151 is a desktop Direct Ink Writing (DIW) 3D printer that turns almost any one-component paste — silicone, ceramic, conductive ink or photopolymer — into a functional part on a heated glass bed, with pneumatic extrusion you control down to the bar.

Why engineers choose the F-NIS 23151

A reliable base for proof-of-concept and proprietary-material R&D.

Pneumatic precision

Regulated air pressure up to 4 bar (6–8 bar optional) meters the bead — repeatable extrusion without a screw or melt.

Material-agnostic

Prints any one-component paste or semi-liquid — silicones, ceramic pastes, conductive inks, photopolymers — so your own formulation runs on day one.

Heated glass bed

230×150×150 mm tempered-glass platform heats to 120 °C — print directly onto glass, metal, PMMA, PC or printed gaskets.

Modular A–E upgrades

Start with version A, add a UV module (365/405 nm), a heated printhead, a cooled platform or a second head as your work grows — one platform, five versions.

New: versions D and E

Two configurations added to the F-NIS 23151 line.

Version D — cooled build platform

A cooled platform running from −15 °C to ambient temperature. For materials that set too quickly or slump at room temperature: hydrogels, heat-sensitive silicones, biomaterials.

Version E — two independent printheads

Two independent printheads with separate heating and pressure, plus a shared UV module. Prints two materials in one process without removing the part: two-component resins and adhesives, flexible electronics (conductive trace and dielectric).

How Additive Plus delivers it

What is the SYGNIS F-NIS 23151 3D Printer?
The SYGNIS F-NIS 23151 is a Direct Ink Writing (DIW) 3D printer designed for research, development, education, and industrial applications. It uses a precision pneumatic extrusion system to print pastes, silicones, resins, ceramics, and other specialized materials that cannot be processed on conventional filament-based 3D printers.
What is Direct Ink Writing (DIW) technology?
Direct Ink Writing is an additive manufacturing process that deposits highly viscous materials, pastes, gels, and inks through a controlled extrusion system. This technology enables the production of functional prototypes, research samples, soft robotics components, and advanced material formulations.
Who is the F-NIS 23151 designed for?
The printer is ideal for universities, research institutes, laboratories, R&D departments, material scientists, chemical engineers, and industrial companies developing or testing custom printable materials.
What materials can the F-NIS 23151 print?
The system supports a wide variety of materials, including silicones, ceramic pastes, photosensitive resins, hydrogels, conductive inks, sealants, adhesives, and other custom-developed formulations used in research and industrial applications.
What is the build volume of the printer?
The F-NIS 23151 features a build area of 230 × 150 × 150 mm, providing sufficient space for research samples, prototypes, proof-of-concept parts, and functional testing components.
Does the printer include a heated build platform?
Yes. The printer is equipped with a tempered glass build platform that can be heated up to 120°C, helping improve adhesion and material processing for various applications.
Can the printer print directly onto different substrates?
Yes. The system can print directly onto substrates such as metal, PMMA, polycarbonate, glass, and custom components, making it suitable for advanced research and functional prototyping projects.
How does the pneumatic extrusion system work?
The F-NIS 23151 uses a precision pneumatic dispensing system that applies controlled air pressure to extrude materials consistently. This approach enables accurate deposition of highly viscous materials that would be difficult to process using traditional extrusion methods.
What pressure range does the system support?
The pneumatic system operates at approximately 4 bar as standard and can be configured for higher pressures in the 6–8 bar range depending on material requirements and application needs.
What are the differences between Versions A, B, and C?
Version A provides the standard DIW printing platform. Version B adds UV curing capabilities for processing photosensitive materials, while Version C includes both UV curing and a heated printhead for enhanced processing of temperature-sensitive and specialty materials.
