What your production engineer actually checks

What your production engineer actually checks

Production DLP that releases big parts

The Revox X1 pairs a 4K DLP engine with TruLayer separation, so it prints large cross-sections and filled resins that trip up conventional DLP — production output without the size ceiling, at an entry price.

An applications engineer on the line

Factory-trained engineers, not a ticket queue. Straight advice on where DLP tops out, resin selection and production support in under 24h — we run resin production ourselves. NDA standard.

About this product

The Axtra3D Revox X1 is a production-grade 4K DLP resin 3D printer — the same chassis and TruLayer separation as the flagship Lumia X1, at an entry price point for teams that can work within DLP part quality on a 249×140×495 mm build volume.

Why engineers choose the Revox X1

Production DLP with the Lumia chassis — without the hybrid light engine or its price.

Production-grade 4K DLP

A high-energy-density 4K DLP engine with pixel-shifting at 405 nm — production output at an entry price, for teams that can accept DLP part quality at 65 µm XY.

TruLayer adaptive separation

Sensors in a glass plate below the vat detach each cured layer and cancel suction forces — the same separation system as the Lumia X1, so viscous and filled resins run cleanly.

No cross-section size limit

Because TruLayer removes hydrostatic suction on separation, part size doesn’t cap the build — run large or bulky parts that standard DLP struggles to release.

Open or closed material options

Offered in open and closed 405 nm configurations across filled and unfilled resins — choose the material freedom your workflow needs.

How Additive Plus delivers it

Matched to your parts and budget, installed by engineers who run these systems.

Step 01
Confirm the fit

We check that DLP part quality meets your spec — and flag when the Lumia X1’s hybrid engine is worth the step up.

Step 02
Install & train on-site

Engineers install the Revox X1, set up the HPS Slicer, and train your team on the workflow.

Step 03
Dial in & support

We help tune exposure and post-cure for your resins and stay on the line for production support — sub-4h reply, NDA standard.

How is the Revox X1 different from the Lumia X1?
The Revox X1 and Lumia X1 share the same chassis, build volume and TruLayer separation system. The difference is the light engine: the Lumia X1 uses Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (laser + 4K DLP) for 50 µm SLA-grade resolution, while the Revox X1 is 4K DLP only at 65 µm XY. The Revox is the lower-cost entry model for teams that can accept DLP part quality; the Lumia is the choice when you need finer detail or the hybrid speed.
What is the Revox X1's resolution and part quality?
The Revox X1 uses a high-energy-density 4K DLP projector with pixel-shifting at 405 nm, giving 65 µm XY resolution and layer thicknesses of 25–200 µm. That is production-grade DLP quality — excellent for functional parts, tooling and castable patterns. For dental margins, fine jewelry detail or the smoothest walls, the hybrid Lumia X1 at 50 µm is the step up.
What build volume does the Revox X1 have?
Current Axtra3D specifications list the Revox X1 build volume as 9.8×5.5×19.5 in / 249×140×495 mm — the same tall envelope as the Lumia X1, suited to production plates and long parts. (Some early pre-launch material cited a different figure; Additive Plus confirms the current envelope with Axtra3D before your order.)
Is the Revox X1 open or closed for materials?
The Revox X1 is offered in both open and closed 405 nm configurations. Open lets you run your own qualified resins across a wide viscosity range, including filled formulations that TruLayer handles well; closed gives turnkey validated profiles. An Additive Plus engineer will help you pick the configuration that matches your material strategy.
When should I choose the Lumia X1 instead?
Step up to the Lumia X1 when you need SLA-grade resolution (50 µm vs 65 µm), the finest surface finish, or the extra throughput of the hybrid laser + DLP engine on large or detailed production runs. If your parts pass at 65 µm DLP, the Revox X1 delivers the same TruLayer reliability for less. We will tell you honestly which one fits your parts.
What post-processing does the Revox X1 need?
As with all resin printers, parts require washing and UV post-curing after the build; a wash station and cure unit are required and not included. Additive Plus can supply compatible post-processing and advise on the wash solvent and cure profile for each resin so finished parts reach their intended mechanical properties.
What lead time and support come with the Revox X1?
The Revox X1 is configured to order — request a quote and an engineer will confirm the schedule. Delivery includes on-site installation, HPS Slicer setup, operator training, and help tuning exposure and post-cure for your resins. The system carries an 18-month warranty, and leasing and financing are available for capital equipment.
