Nexa3D xGPP-Gray General Purpose Resin – High-Accuracy Production Photopolymer for NXE 400 | 5 kg
General Purpose Photopolymer (GPP) for high-throughput, high-accuracy production and prototyping on the Nexa3D NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro. BASF-formulated for injection-mould-quality surface finish, low shrinkage and fast print speed, with 30 MPa ultimate tensile strength, 2100 MPa tensile modulus, 84 D Shore hardness and a 93 °C glass transition. The gray finish shows draft lines, parting seams and surface defects that clear resins hide. Supplied to order in 5 kg (12 lb) jerricans.

What your process engineer actually checks
Gray data, not family data
The published values for xGPP-Gray are its own: 30 MPa ultimate tensile strength, 2100 MPa tensile modulus, 2% elongation at break, 84 D Shore hardness and a 93 °C glass transition. We quote the Gray sheet, not the Translucent one, and we confirm compatibility for the NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro only.

Nexa3D xGPP-Gray is a BASF-formulated General Purpose Photopolymer for high-throughput, high-accuracy production and prototyping on the NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro. Low shrinkage and injection-mould-quality surface finish, in the gray finish that shows draft lines and surface defects clear resins hide.

Why engineers choose xGPP-Gray
Rigid, accurate and fast — the default resin for fit checks, fixtures and short runs.
93 °C glass transition
Parts hold their shape through warm assembly checks, shop-floor heat and summer shipping instead of drooping on the fixture.
84 D Shore, 2100 MPa modulus
Hard, rigid surfaces. Locating features on gauges and fixtures survive repeated cycles without wearing round.
LSPc area cure at 405 nm
Each layer is cured across the whole plate at once, so a full build finishes in the time a laser system spends tracing one part.
Low shrinkage, gray finish
Injection-mould-quality surfaces, and gray reads draft lines, parting seams and defects that translucent resins hide.
How we supply xGPP-Gray
Vendor-validated chemistry, lot traceability and a cure profile that matches your machine.
Formulated & tested
xGPP-Gray is a BASF-formulated general purpose photopolymer, validated on the Nexa3D NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro before it enters our catalogue.
Stocked & lot-matched
Supplied to order in 5 kg (12 lb) jerricans with lot traceability, so a repeat production run prints from the same chemistry as the first.
Print, wash & cure
Print at 405 nm on the NXE 400 or 400 Pro, wash and finish with the standard Nexa3D solvent workflow, dry, then UV post-cure to full properties.
Physical and mechanical properties

Printed properties depend on part geometry, orientation and post-cure. Values are typical, not a specification.
Typical applications

Compatible printers & post-processing
xGPP-Gray is qualified for the Nexa3D NXE 400 and NXE 400 Pro, cured at 405 nm under the LSPc process. Those are the only platforms we confirm — Nexa3D does not publish validated profiles for xGPP-Gray on the XiP or XiP Pro desktop machines, so we make no claim there. Mix the jerrican thoroughly before each print job and pour slowly into the vat so entrained air can clear before the build starts. Printed parts are washed and finished using the standard Nexa3D solvent workflow, dried, and then UV post-cured; the published 30 MPa ultimate tensile strength, 2100 MPa modulus and 93 °C glass transition are reached only after a full post-cure. Filter reclaimed resin back into the container between jobs.
