Standard and custom metal build plates for LPBF and DED metal 3D printers — Ti64 and stainless platforms for EOS, SLM and Renishaw systems, plus tailor-made sizes up to 4′×4′.
A+ metal build plates, with their inherent anisotropy, offer a number of technical advantages over standard rolled plates:
Ready-to-ship titanium (Ti64) and stainless steel (SS316) build platforms, in standard and HIPed conditions. Select your machine and material — or ask us for a custom size.

A metal build plate (or build platform) is the base a metal 3D printer builds on. During LPBF or DED, the first layers of the part are fused directly to the plate, which anchors the part and conducts heat away throughout the build. After printing, parts are cut from the plate and it is re-machined for reuse.
Match the plate alloy to your part material to avoid cracking and ease removal — Ti64 plates for titanium parts, stainless (SS316) for steel. We stock Ti-6Al-4V and SS316 platforms, with Cp-Ti Grade 2, IN 718, Ti-6Al-4V Grade 23 and IN 625 available on request.
We supply platforms for EOS M280/M290 and M400, SLM 280 and Renishaw 500Q, in standard and HIPed conditions — and can machine custom sizes for other PBF and DED systems.
Yes. We produce tailor-made sizes and shapes — square, ring, circular and atypical — up to 4′×4′, including machine-to-print plates and plates made from your own powders.
Arrange a consultation with our experts and we’ll match the right plate — standard or custom — to your machine and your parts.
