Description

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a premium high-performance polymer engineered for the most demanding industrial applications. This specialty PVDF filament delivers exceptional resistance to chemicals, heat, and wear while maintaining excellent mechanical strength, making it ideal for components that operate in aggressive environments where other materials would fail.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Exceptional Chemical Resistance: Withstands acids, solvents, and hydrocarbons without degradation

  • Outstanding Heat Resistance: High heat deflection temperature of 158°C for elevated temperature applications

  • Excellent Mechanical Properties: Strong, stiff, and durable with good impact resistance

  • Low Moisture Absorption: Maintains dimensional stability in humid environments

  • UV and Weather Resistance: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications

Performance Highlights

  • Chemical Resistance: Exceptional – Superior to most 3D printing materials

  • Heat Resistance: Outstanding (158°C HDT)

  • Mechanical Strength: High – Good balance of strength and stiffness

  • Durability: Excellent – Resists wear and environmental stress

Typical Applications

  • Chemical Processing Equipment

  • Pipes, Valves, and Fittings

  • Electrical Insulation Components

  • Medical and Laboratory Equipment

  • Aerospace and Automotive Components

  • Outdoor and Marine Applications

Storage & Handling

Store Creatbot PVDF Filament in a cool, dry place inside its original sealed bag with desiccant. For long-term storage or in humid environments, use a dry box to prevent moisture absorption, which can lead to printing issues and reduced mechanical properties.
