Description

PA CF (High Temperature Polyamide Carbon Fiber Reinforced) filament represents the pinnacle of engineering materials for industrial 3D printing. This advanced Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament combines high-temperature polyamide with 15% carbon fiber reinforcement, creating a composite material that delivers exceptional mechanical properties and thermal performance for the most demanding applications.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Extreme Strength & Stiffness: PA CF reinforcement provides ultra-high tensile strength (125 MPa) and exceptional rigidity (8512 MPa flexural modulus)

  • Superior Heat Resistance: Outstanding heat deflection temperature (113°C) ensures reliable performance in high-temperature environments

  • Excellent Dimensional Stability: This High Temperature Polyamide Carbon Fiber Reinforced material minimizes warping and ensures consistent printing results

  • Enhanced Wear Resistance: Carbon fiber content delivers superior abrasion resistance for long-lasting industrial parts

  • Low Moisture Absorption: PA CF maintains mechanical properties better than standard nylons in humid conditions

Recommended Print Settings

Parameter Recommended Value
Nozzle Temperature 300°C – 320°C
Build Plate Temperature 70°C – 90°C
Print Speed 30 – 60 mm/s
Cooling Fan OFF or Low
Nozzle Type Hardened Steel Nozzle (0.6mm recommended)
Drying Instructions 100°C for 6-8 hours before printing

Critical Printing Guidelines

  • Moisture Control: Store PA CF filament in dry environment (<15% humidity) and dry thoroughly before printing

  • Nozzle Requirement: Hardened steel nozzle mandatory to withstand abrasive carbon fibers in this Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament

  • Filament Handling: Handle High Temperature Polyamide Carbon Fiber Reinforced spools carefully to prevent breaking

  • Annealing Option: Can be annealed at 80-100°C for 4-8 hours to enhance mechanical properties

Performance Highlights

  • Mechanical Strength: Exceptional (125 MPa tensile strength)

  • Stiffness: Ultra-High (8512 MPa flexural modulus)

  • Heat Resistance: Outstanding (113°C HDT)

  • Dimensional Stability: Excellent – Minimal warping during printing

Typical Applications

  • High-Performance Automotive Components

  • Aerospace Structural Parts

  • Industrial Jigs, Fixtures and Tooling

  • Robotics and Drone Components

  • High-Strength Functional Prototypes

  • End-Use Production Parts

Storage & Handling

Store Creatbot Creatbot Ultra PA CF (Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament) in a cool, dry place inside its original sealed bag with desiccant. For long-term storage or in humid environments, use a dry box to prevent moisture absorption, which can lead to printing issues and reduced mechanical properties.
