ALTANA Cubic Ink High Temperature 1901 VP is an easy-to-print DLP/LCD/mSLA resin with an HDT-B of 272 °C and strong chemical resistance — and, unusually for a high-temp resin, it stays tough instead of turning brittle.
Why engineers choose HT 1901 VP
Heat resistance that does not trade away toughness.
Heat that holds
HDT-B 272 °C and Tg > 300 °C. Parts keep their geometry against molten-material contact, high-pressure steam and sustained heat.
Tough, not brittle
4.8% elongation at break and 14 J/m notched Izod. Drill, grind and machine finished parts without shattering.
Superior chemical resistance
Under 0.5% mass gain across acids, bases, solvents and fuels after 24 h submersion — built for harsh service.
Clean regulatory profile
In-vitro cytotoxicity passed (ISO 10993-5/-12), low 0.4% water uptake, and 26 kV/mm dielectric strength for electrical parts.

Print settings
Starting exposure by printer (Cubic Ink measured). Tune per geometry.
| Printer | Color | Layer | Bottom exp. | Default exp. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prusa SL1S Speed (LCD, 405 nm) | Black | 50 µm | 10.0 s | 6.00 s |
| Formlabs Form 4 (LCD, 405 nm) | Uncolored / Black | 100 / 50 µm | 20.2 / 18.6 s | 0.69 / 0.44 s |

Also validated on Phrozen 8K Mighty / Mega S. Wash 1–3 min (Cleaner 400 or IPA); post-cure UV at ≥80 °C, then thermal cure — e.g. +3 h at 150 °C raises HDT-B toward ~295 °C. Full parameters in the processing guide (download above).
Typical applications
Tooling · machinery · automotive · aerospace.
How you run it
Print → wash → UV + thermal post-cure.
LCD / DLP / mSLA. Validated on Formlabs Form 4, Asiga Pro 4K, Prusa SL1S and Phrozen 8K. Uncolored or black.
Wash
1–3 min in Cubic Ink Cleaner 400 or IPA, then dry. Ultrasonic bath optional.
Post-cure
Intense UV at ≥80 °C, then thermal post-cure (up to 130–150 °C) for full HDT. Black needs extra cure to avoid cracking.
