Do I need to dry PP Purple before molding?
Not usually. Polypropylene absorbs very little moisture, so PP Purple does not typically require drying. Store the sealed units in a cool, dry place and keep them closed until use. A short dry only helps if the pellets have been exposed to humidity for a long time.
Is the purple color pre-mixed into the pellet?
Yes. PP Purple is pre-colored, so you do not add masterbatch during molding. That delivers uniform, repeatable purple straight from the pellet and removes a mixing and dosing step, which helps keep color consistent from part to part and batch to batch.
