Description

TPU-95A is a high-performance flexible filament that bridges the gap between rigid plastics and soft rubbers. This thermoplastic polyurethane offers exceptional elasticity combined with impressive tensile strength, making it ideal for parts requiring both flexibility and durability. With a Shore 95A hardness, TPU-95A provides the perfect balance – flexible enough to absorb impacts yet rigid enough to maintain its shape under pressure.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Controlled Flexibility: Shore 95A hardness offers optimal balance between softness and structural integrity

  • High Tensile Strength: 52 MPa strength ensures durable parts that resist tearing and deformation

  • Excellent Shock Absorption: Ideal for vibration damping and impact-resistant applications

  • Good Layer Adhesion: Produces reliable, consistent prints with strong interlayer bonding

  • Wear Resistance: Withstands repeated bending and compression without failing

Recommended Print Settings

Parameter Recommended Value
Nozzle Temperature 210°C – 230°C
Build Plate Temperature 0°C – 45°C
Print Speed 25 – 50 mm/s

Nozzle Type Standard Brass Nozzle

Note: Use direct drive extruders for best results with flexible filaments

Performance Highlights

  • Flexibility: High (Shore 95A)

  • Durability: Excellent – High tensile strength with good elongation

  • Printability: Good with proper settings

  • Impact Resistance: Outstanding

Typical Applications

  • Protective Cases & Bumpers

  • Gaskets, Seals & Tubing

  • Wearable Devices & Insoles

  • Industrial Grippers & Fixtures

  • Vibration Damping Components

  • Functional Prototypes & End-Use Parts

Storage & Handling

Store Creatbot PLA Filament in a cool, dry place inside its original sealed bag with desiccant. For long-term storage or in humid environments, use a dry box to prevent moisture absorption, which can lead to printing issues and reduced mechanical properties.
