What your print room actually needs

Two jobs, one heated box

The FD01 PRO dries four spools and feeds them to the printer through side ports, then anneals finished parts on a metal tray — moisture control and stress relief without a second machine or a second footprint on the bench.

An applications engineer on the line

Questions about drying presets, feed-through routing, or which parts anneal safely below 100 °C? Our engineers run these materials in-house. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.

About this product

goofoo FD01 PRO is a desktop 2-in-1 station that dries up to four filament spools and anneals printed parts up to 100 °C. One heated chamber keeps feedstock dry before and during printing through feed-through ports, then relieves internal stress in finished parts — so moisture-sensitive filament and dimensionally critical parts get handled without a second machine.

Why engineers reach for the FD01 PRO

Drying and annealing in one glass-door chamber, sized for a workbench.

Four spools at once

Dries up to four 1 kg spools in one heated chamber — no single-roll bottleneck and no swapping mid-batch.

Dry while printing

Feed-through ports route filament straight to the printer, so it stays dry through long PA-CF, PC and PET-CF jobs.

Fast, even heat

Reaches 100 °C in about 3 minutes via a heat-radiation pipe that spreads temperature evenly across every spool.

Preset profiles + touch control

An LC touch screen with presets from PLA/CF to PEEK/CF auto-sets the drying temperature; rotary knobs set filament and time.

How the FD01 PRO runs

Three steps, whether you are drying feedstock or annealing a finished part.

Step 01
Load spools or parts

Place up to four spools on the removable filament rack, or swap in the metal tray to anneal printed parts.

Step 02
Select preset or temperature

Pick a filament preset or dial an annealing temperature on the touch screen, then set the 0–24 h timer.

Step 03
Dry or anneal

The heat-radiation pipe holds 55–100 °C evenly; feed-through ports let filament run to the printer as it dries.

What Is the FD01 PRO: Filament Drying and Parts Annealing in One Box

The FD01 PRO is a benchtop conditioning unit with a glass drop-down door, interior LED light, and a heat-radiation heating pipe. In dryer mode it holds up to four spools warm and dry, feeding filament through side ports to the printer so it never re-absorbs moisture. In annealing mode a metal tray replaces the filament rack, letting you heat-soak finished parts to relieve print stress. See full specifications below.

Filament Drying

Wet filament causes stringing, weak layer bonding and popping during extrusion. The FD01 PRO dries PLA, PLA+, PETG, WOOD, ABS, TPU, HIPS, PA, PA-CF, PA-GF and PC on both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm spools, in 0.25 / 0.5 / 1 kg sizes, up to four 1 kg rolls (4 kg) at once. Preset profiles — PLA/CF, PETG/CF, TPU/PC, ABS/CF-GF, PET/CF, PAHT/CF, PPA/CF, PEEK/CF and more — set the drying temperature automatically for each material, and feed-through ports keep filament dry through the whole print.

3D-Print Annealing

Annealing heat-soaks a printed part to relieve internal stress locked in during printing, improving strength and dimensional stability. Swap the filament rack for the included metal baking tray, set a temperature up to 100 °C, and run a controlled soak on the 0–24 h timer. It suits stress relief on PLA, PETG and other thermoplastics whose annealing window sits at or below 100 °C.

Our PA-CF stopped stringing overnight — drying four spools at once means the whole shelf is print-ready in the morning.

Feed-through ports were the selling point. A 14-hour PC job used to fail on humidity; now it runs dry start to finish.

The annealing tray is a nice second use — PLA fixtures hold tolerance better after a soak. One box, two problems solved.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

What drying temperature does the FD01 PRO use for each filament?
The FD01 PRO ships with preset filament profiles — PLA/CF, PETG/CF, TPU/PC, ABS/CF-GF, PET/CF, PAHT/CF, PPA/CF, PEEK/CF and more — and the LC touch screen auto-sets the drying temperature when you pick the material. The heating range runs 55–100 °C, so lower-temperature materials like PLA and TPU dry gently while nylon, PC and carbon-fiber blends get the higher end. You can also set a custom temperature and time manually on the FD01 PRO.
Can the FD01 PRO dry and feed filament while I'm printing?
Yes. The FD01 PRO has feed-through ports that route filament straight to your printer, so the spool stays inside the heated chamber and keeps drying through the entire print. This matters most on long jobs with moisture-sensitive materials like PA-CF, PC and PET-CF, where filament left in open air re-absorbs humidity within hours. Route the filament through the port before you start the print and the FD01 PRO holds temperature on the 0–24 h timer.
Which materials can I anneal, and how does annealing help?
Annealing heat-soaks a finished part to relieve internal stress locked in during printing, which improves strength and dimensional stability. Because the FD01 PRO tops out at 100 °C, it suits stress relief on thermoplastics whose annealing window sits at or below that — PLA, PETG and similar materials. Swap the filament rack for the included metal tray, set the temperature and the 0–24 h timer, and run a controlled soak. Materials that need annealing well above 100 °C fall outside its range.
What is the largest spool the FD01 PRO holds, and how many at once?
The FD01 PRO holds up to four spools at the same time and accepts 0.25 kg, 0.5 kg and 1 kg spools in both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm diameters. Fully loaded that is four 1 kg rolls, or 4 kg of filament drying together in one chamber. The removable filament rack organizes the spools and lifts out entirely when you switch the FD01 PRO to annealing mode.
Does the FD01 PRO support PEEK or carbon-fiber filament?
The FD01 PRO includes a PEEK/CF preset and profiles for carbon- and glass-fiber blends such as PA-CF, PA-GF, ABS/CF-GF, PET/CF, PAHT/CF and PPA/CF, and it dries PC as well. Note that the FD01 PRO dries and conditions these filaments up to 100 °C — that keeps them moisture-free for printing, but it is a drying and annealing unit, not a high-temperature curing oven. For exact preset behavior on your specific PEEK grade, ask our materials engineer.
What power does the FD01 PRO need?
The FD01 PRO runs on AC 110V/220V at 50/60 Hz, drawing 690 W and about 3 A. It plugs into a standard wall outlet — no special electrical service required — and reaches 100 °C in roughly three minutes thanks to its heat-radiation heating pipe. The FD01 PRO is certified to FCC, CE and RoHS.
What warranty comes with the FD01 PRO?
Warranty length is not published on the FD01 PRO product sheet, so we don't state a term we can't verify. Contact Additive Plus for current warranty coverage and support terms before you order, and we'll confirm what applies to your unit. Every FD01 PRO order also ships with compatibility support so the dryer matches your filaments and printer from day one.
