About this product
The Carbolite Gero LGP is a large general-purpose industrial oven offering the widest choice of size and temperature in the range — chamber volumes from 500 to 13,820 litres and four temperature grades (250, 425, 625 and 700°C). Rugged, well-proven designs handle heavy production duty: heavy-duty impellers for efficient air circulation and excellent uniformity, a corrosion-resistant ferritic grade-430 stainless-steel interior, a steel-section and zinc-coated painted mild-steel exterior, and single- or double-door configurations. A 3216CC PID controller with over-temperature protection is standard, along with Ethernet communications, and bespoke AMS2750F (Nadcap)-compliant builds are available.

How large is the LGP and what temperatures does it reach?
The Carbolite Gero LGP offers the widest choice of size and temperature in the oven range. Chamber volumes run from 500 to 13,820 litres, and it is built in four maximum-temperature grades: LGP 2 (250°C), LGP 4 (425°C), LGP 6 (625°C) and LGP 7 (700°C). Available volumes narrow at the higher grades. Single- and double-door configurations are offered. Our applications engineer will help match capacity and grade to your parts.
What standard chamber volumes are available?
Standard LGP volumes are 500, 730, 1000, 1500, 1750, 2160, 3370, 5830, 8000 and 13,820 litres, with the largest sizes offered at the lower temperature grades. Shelf runners are standard on models up to 1000 L and optional up to 5830 L. A wide range of sample loading and handling accessories can be supplied. We will help select the right volume and loading setup for your throughput.
Is the LGP suitable for AMS2750F / Nadcap heat treatment?
Yes. Bespoke LGP specifications are available for AMS2750F (Nadcap)-compliant applications — the instrumentation, uniformity survey and documentation aerospace and defense heat-treatment programs require. Its large capacity makes it well suited to production ageing and cure of aerospace parts. Additive Plus can specify the compliant build and support the qualification paperwork. Tell us the class and process and we will configure the oven.
Can the LGP handle solvent-releasing or potentially flammable loads?
For processes that release volatile solvents, explosion-relief panels and an exhaust proving switch are available as options, along with fully adjustable chamber ventilation. These safety features are important at large chamber volumes. Over-temperature protection is fitted as standard. Discuss your specific load and solvent volumes with our applications engineer so the correct ventilation and safety package is specified at time of order.
What door and loading options does the LGP offer?
The LGP is available in single- and double-door configurations, with manual or motorised vertically opening doors as an option for large chambers. A wide range of sample loading and handling accessories, standard or heavy-duty shelves, vertical airflow impellers, interior lighting (subject to temperature limits) and access ports for cables and pipes can be specified. We will configure loading and door options around how you move parts in and out.
Does the LGP support data logging and networking?
Yes. The LGP uses a 3216CC PID controller with over-temperature protection and Ethernet communications as standard, so it integrates into networked process monitoring. For programmed multi-segment ramps, soaks and data logging, a range of upgraded controllers, multi-segment programmers and loggers with digital communications can be specified. This suits documented heat-treatment cycles that need traceable records.
What is the lead time and does Additive Plus install it?
The LGP is a large-format, configured-to-order oven, so lead time depends on the size, grade, doors and options chosen — request a current quote and we will confirm it. Additive Plus handles US-based delivery, installation and operator training for large equipment, and coordinates Carbolite Gero spares, service and calibration locally. For AMS2750F builds we also support the uniformity survey and qualification documentation.
