About this product
The Carbolite Gero GP is a general-purpose industrial oven with a 300°C maximum operating temperature, supplied in three sizes (220, 330 and 450 litres) with a choice of powerful vertical (A) or horizontal (B) airflow for optimum uniformity (±5°C at 300°C). It is built to withstand the rigours of a production environment: a long-lasting polished 430-grade ferritic stainless-steel internal case, a robust steel-section and zinc-coated mild-steel exterior, and mineral-insulated metal-sheathed heating elements. A 301 controller runs the cycle, and bespoke specifications are available for AMS2750F (Nadcap)-compliant applications.

What is the maximum temperature and uniformity of the GP oven?
The Carbolite Gero GP operates up to 300°C with temperature uniformity of ±5°C at 300°C. You choose vertical (A) or horizontal (B) forced-air circulation to suit your load geometry, and adjustable chamber ventilation tunes air exchange. The oven is built for production duty with a 430-grade stainless-steel interior and robust steel construction. Programmable controllers are available if you need multi-segment ramps and soaks.
What is the difference between the A and B airflow versions?
The GP is offered with two airflow patterns: A for vertical airflow and B for horizontal airflow. Vertical airflow suits loads on multiple shelves where you want even top-to-bottom heating; horizontal airflow suits deeper or side-loaded work. Both deliver ±5°C uniformity at 300°C. Our applications engineer will recommend A or B based on how you load the oven and what you are processing.
Is the GP suitable for AMS2750F / Nadcap heat treatment?
Yes. Bespoke GP specifications are available for AMS2750F (Nadcap)-compliant applications, which is what aerospace and defense heat-treatment programs require. That covers the instrumentation, uniformity survey and documentation your auditor checks. Additive Plus can specify the compliant build and support the qualification paperwork. Tell us the class and process and we will configure the oven accordingly.
What chamber sizes are available?
The GP comes in three sizes — 220, 330 and 450 litres — each available in A (vertical) or B (horizontal) airflow. The 430-grade stainless interior and reinforced base handle heavy loads, and additional or heavy-duty shelves and a floor stand can be specified. If you need larger capacity, the Carbolite Gero LGP range runs from 500 up to 13,820 litres. We will help match the size to your parts and throughput.
Can the GP handle stoving and solvent curing?
Yes. A stoving & curing option is available for extracting small volumes of volatile solvents, which suits paint stoving, powder-coat and adhesive cure. Combined with adjustable chamber ventilation, the GP handles curing and drying processes that release fumes. Over-temperature protection, an access port for an independent thermocouple and cable entry ports are also available. We will confirm the right option set for your process.
Can the GP cure tooling or stress-relieve printed parts?
Yes. At up to 300°C the GP is well suited to curing printed jigs and fixtures, low-temperature stress relief of polymer AM parts, ageing, and batch drying of feedstock or components. Because it is production-grade, it holds up to repeated daily cycles. Our engineers run heat treatment in-house at AO Metal and can recommend temperatures and dwell times for the parts and materials you print.
What is the lead time and does Additive Plus install it?
The GP is configured to order, so lead time depends on the size, airflow and options chosen — request a current quote and we will confirm it. Additive Plus handles US-based delivery and setup, provides operator guidance, and coordinates Carbolite Gero spares, service and calibration locally.
