What your lab lead actually checks
Versatile, uniform lab heating
Fan convection holds ±5°C at 300°C with fast heat-up and recovery across six sizes from 28 to 910 L. Stoving & curing, moisture-extraction and variable-speed-fan options adapt one oven family to solvent, wet and dry work alike.

The Carbolite Gero PF is a range of fan-convection laboratory ovens in six chamber sizes from 28 to 910 litres. The four smaller models (PF 30–PF 200) reach 300°C; the two large-format models (PF 400, PF 800) reach 250°C. Forced-air convection delivers rapid heating, fast recovery and even temperature distribution (±5°C at 300°C), with a chemically resistant stainless-steel liner and airtight silicone seal. A broad options list — variable-speed fan, moisture extraction, stoving & curing for solvent removal, viewing window and floor stands — lets the PF be tailored to general lab work, drying, curing and additive feedstock conditioning.

Why engineers choose the PF
A versatile fan-convection lab oven from bench to floor-standing — figures below are from the Carbolite Gero datasheet.
Fan convection to 300°C
Forced-air circulation gives rapid heating, fast recovery and ±5°C uniformity at 300°C (PF 30–PF 200); large PF 400 and PF 800 run to 250°C.
Six sizes, 28–910 L
Bench-top PF 30 through floor-standing PF 800 — one oven family scales from a single-sample lab to production-scale batch drying.
Solvent & moisture options
Optional stoving & curing extracts small volumes of volatile solvents; a moisture-extraction package with sealed seams and exhaust fan handles wet loads. Variable-speed fan control tunes airflow to the work.
R38 PID / 301 control
R38 digital PID on PF 30–PF 200 and the 301 ramp-to-setpoint controller on PF 400/800, with programmable multi-segment controllers and data loggers available.

From teams running Carbolite Gero ovens
Unedited feedback from labs and production floors.
Temperature uniformity held within spec across the whole chamber — our heat-treat sign-off stopped being a fight.
Configured to order meant the exact controller and over-temperature setup we needed, and install was handled end to end.
Drying our feedstock before printing noticeably cut porosity. Simple, repeatable, reliable.
