Exposure, cure and detail you can trust

xMODEL15 resolves fine features at 405 nm with a smooth as-printed finish. The validated exposure and post-cure profile is published for XiP, XiP Pro and NXE 400 — you print to a known recipe, not a guess, and reorders match lot-to-lot.

About this product

Nexa3D xMODEL15-Gray is an economical LSPc photopolymer for fast, high-detail concept and appearance models. Gray reads surface detail and shadow better than darker resins under review lighting, prints in minutes on Nexa3D LSPc systems, and sands, primes and paints cleanly.

Why engineers choose xMODEL15

A model resin picked for detail, speed and a finish you can present.

High-detail resolution

Crisp text, thin walls and sharp edges straight off the plate — LSPc pixel-level accuracy for appearance and fit models.

Fast LSPc throughput

Low 200–300 mPa·s viscosity and 405 nm cure keep whole-plate builds to minutes, so design iterations land the same day.

Gray reads detail

Neutral gray shows surface transitions and draft angles clearly in photos and design reviews — the default choice for form studies.

Batch-consistent

Formulated to ASTM-referenced properties and stocked lot-matched, so a reorder prints to the same profile without re-tuning.

How we supply xMODEL15

Formulated, batch-tested and lot-matched before it reaches your vat.

Step 01
Formulated & tested

Each batch is produced to the published xMODEL15 property set and validated against ASTM tensile, hardness and HDT methods.

Step 02
Stocked & lot-matched

Held in US inventory and shipped lot-matched, so repeat orders drop into the same validated LSPc print profile.

Step 03
Print, wash & cure

Print on any 405 nm Nexa3D LSPc system, wash in xClean then IPA, and UV post-cure to reach full mechanical properties.

Compatible printers & post-processing

xMODEL15 is a 405 nm LSPc photopolymer. The 5 kg bottle feeds Nexa3D NXE 400 / NXE 400 Pro and XiP Pro systems; the same resin ships as a 1.5 kg cartridge for the XiP and XiP Pro desktops. Wash printed parts in xClean followed by IPA, then UV post-cure to reach the full mechanical property set. See the Technical Data Sheet below for the validated cure recipe.

Tell us your printer, target detail and finishing route — a materials engineer will confirm xMODEL15 is the right model resin and share the validated cure profile. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

Which Nexa3D printers is xMODEL15 compatible with?
xMODEL15 is a 405 nm LSPc photopolymer that runs on Nexa3D XiP and XiP Pro desktops (1.5 kg cartridge) and NXE 400 / NXE 400 Pro systems (5 kg bottle). Additive Plus supplies the validated exposure and post-cure profile for each, so parts print to a known recipe. It is not formulated for non-Nexa3D or 385 nm printers.
What colors and sizes does xMODEL15 come in?
xMODEL15 is available in Black, Gray and White. The 1.5 kg cartridge feeds the XiP and XiP Pro; the 5 kg bottle feeds NXE 400, NXE 400 Pro and XiP Pro. All colors share the same LSPc chemistry and property set, so pick by contrast and finishing needs — gray is the usual default for design reviews. Ordering multiple colors or higher volumes? Additive Plus supports official POs and volume pricing.
How do I post-process xMODEL15 parts?
Wash printed xMODEL15 parts in xClean followed by IPA — keep total submersion under about five minutes — then dry and UV post-cure. Post-cure is what brings xMODEL15 to its full 55 MPa tensile strength and 78–80 Shore D hardness. The Technical Data Sheet in Downloads lists the validated cure recipe, and a materials engineer can confirm settings for your wash-and-cure station.
What is xMODEL15 best used for?
xMODEL15 is an economical model resin for concept models, appearance and fit-check parts, design-review models and light jigs. Its strength is high detail and a smooth, finish-ready surface at a low cost per part. For rigid functional models with higher heat resistance, step up to xMODEL35; for dental models, see xMODEL 2505.
How should I store xMODEL15 resin?
Keep xMODEL15 sealed in its original container, away from direct light and heat, at room temperature. Mix it well before pouring into the vat, and filter reclaimed resin back into the bottle to remove any cured fragments. Stored sealed and correctly, the resin holds its printing properties through its stated shelf life.
Is xMODEL15 biocompatible or certified for medical or dental use?
No. xMODEL15 is a general modeling resin and carries no biocompatibility or medical certification. For biocompatible applications, use xMED412, which is capable of meeting ISO 10993-5, -10 and -23 in a validated workflow; for dental model work, use xMODEL 2505. A materials engineer can point you to the right certified resin for your application.
Can I get a sample before ordering in volume?
Yes. Request the Nexa3D LSPc resin sample kit to print xMODEL15 on your own workflow before committing to volume. Additive Plus stocks the resin in the US and ships in two business days, and supports official purchase orders and volume pricing for production accounts.
