Inspection Performance
The AutoScan Inspec2 uses a blue-LED light source and 2 × 5 MP cameras to reach 0.01 mm accuracy with 0.05 mm point distance across a 140 × 90 × 80 mm field of view. The 3-axis turntable moves the part automatically for hands-free, multi-angle scanning, and the integrated PTB-certified inspection module produces the inspection report. Automated Desktop Workflow
At 5 kg, the AutoScan Inspec2 fits into a lab, workshop, or industrial environment. Automatic calibration takes one click, and one-click scanning means an operator loads a part and lets the turntable do the rest. Multi-object mode scans up to 8 objects in one run, and Flip Scan captures the other side of a part in a second project that merges with the first — useful for incoming and in-process QC of small parts.
Software & Inspection
UltraScan drives capture with AI-assisted data completion, and the SHINING3D Inspect module analyzes the result and generates inspection reports. For reverse engineering the data exports to EXModel and Geomagic Design X; for inspection it works with Geomagic Control X, PolyWorks Inspector, and SHINING3D Inspect. Output in STL, OBJ, and PLY fits standard CAD and QC pipelines.
