What the Syringe Barrel Does
The syringe barrel is the reservoir that holds paste, gel or ink in the Sygnis F-NIS direct-ink-writing (DIW) system. It has a precision-fit adapter for easy, secure attachment to the dispenser and a luer-lock thread that accepts matching dispensing tips and luer-lock tip caps. The barrel wall is transparent, so operators can see how much material is loaded and monitor it as it is dispensed.
