What your process engineer actually checks
Tight diameter, dry, jam-free
Every spool ships with a datasheet covering diameter tolerance, moisture, and a validated print profile for the systems we sell, so feeds stay consistent and parts hold dimension. Load the profile and print.
A materials engineer on the line
Questions on diameter tolerance, moisture, layer adhesion, or warping? A materials engineer answers directly — not a contact-form bot. Most replies in under 4 hours, NDA standard.

Why engineers choose CreatBot PLA-CF Filament
Four things engineers check before standardizing on a carbon-fiber filament.
High stiffness, low warp
A 6320 MPa flexural modulus and 89 MPa flexural strength make parts rigid and dimensionally stable — they hold shape under load where standard PLA would flex. The carbon fiber also cuts warping.
Matte technical finish
Chopped carbon fiber hides layer lines and kills gloss for a professional, matte surface straight off the bed — no sanding or painting for a finished, engineered look.
±0.02mm diameter tolerance
Tight, consistent diameter means steady extrusion — no mid-print under-extrusion from a loose spot or clogs from a tight one.
Easy to print
Prints at PLA-like temperatures with no enclosure — the stiffness of a composite without the fussiness of nylon. Carbon fiber is abrasive, so run a hardened steel nozzle.
How we ship it
Every spool of CreatBot PLA-CF Filament leaves Gardena, CA the same way.
Print profile confirmed
Nozzle and bed temperatures verified on a CreatBot F430 before the spool is listed — not copied from a generic PLA-CF spec sheet.
Sealed with desiccant
Vacuum-bagged with the original desiccant pack so the spool is dry on arrival, not just at the factory.
Ships from L.A. stock
In stock at our Gardena facility — 1–2 business day dispatch, datasheet included in the box.
Print compatibility
Runs on any FDM/FFF printer fitted with a hardened steel nozzle (carbon fiber is abrasive to brass) and a heated bed to 60°C — no enclosure needed. Full mechanical and thermal property values (tested to ISO 527, ISO 178, ISO 75, and ISO 1183) are listed in the Specifications tab below.
Recommended print settings
| Parameter | Recommended value |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 200°C – 220°C |
| Build plate temperature | 45°C – 60°C |
| Chamber temperature | Not required |
| Print speed | 30 – 60 mm/s |
| Cooling fan | On (medium to high) |
| Nozzle type | Hardened steel (required — abrasive) |

Storage & handling
Store CreatBot PLA-CF Filament in a cool, dry place inside its original sealed bag with the desiccant. For long-term storage or humid environments, use a dry box between prints — moisture absorption shows up as stringing, surface roughness, and weaker layer adhesion.
