About this product

Bambu Lab P1S Combo is a fully enclosed CoreXY FDM printer bundled with the 4-spool AMS (Automatic Material System). The sealed, heated chamber holds internal temperature steady, so ABS, ASA, PA and PC print without the warping and layer splits that stall open-frame machines — while 500 mm/s toolhead speed with accelerometer input shaping and pressure advance keeps dimensional quality high at full velocity.

Why engineers choose the P1S Combo

Four things engineering, lab and education teams verify before buying an enclosed desktop FDM system.

Fully enclosed chamber

A sealed enclosure with activated-carbon filtration holds chamber temperature stable for warp-free ABS, ASA, PA and PC — and contains fumes for shared office and classroom spaces.

4-material AMS included

The bundled AMS auto-switches between 4 spools for multi-color or multi-material builds. Chain up to 4 AMS units with the Hub for 16 materials in a single print.

500 mm/s, controlled

CoreXY kinematics and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration run fast; accelerometer-based input shaping and pressure advance cancel ringing so accuracy holds at speed.

300°C hotend, 100°C bed

All-metal 300°C hotend and 100°C textured PEI plate cover PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA and entry-level PA and PC with no hardware upgrades.

We swapped an open-frame printer for the P1S and our ABS fixture failures basically stopped. The enclosed chamber made the difference.

The AMS pays for itself in our lab. Students run multi-color models and we run PVA supports without babysitting spool changes.

Fast, quiet enough for the office, and the remote camera means I start prints from my desk. Dimensional accuracy holds even at speed.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

How fast is the Bambu Lab P1S Combo, and does print quality hold at speed?
The P1S Combo runs up to 500 mm/s toolhead speed with 20,000 mm/s² acceleration. Speed alone warps most printers, so the P1S uses accelerometer-based input shaping and pressure advance to cancel ringing and control extrusion, so dimensional accuracy holds at full velocity. In practice most functional parts print in a fraction of the time a standard 1.75 mm FDM machine needs, without the surface artifacts that force a reprint.
Which materials can the P1S Combo print, and what does the enclosure add?
Out of the box the P1S Combo handles PLA, PLA+, PETG, TPU, and PVA. Its fully enclosed, heated chamber is the reason it also runs ABS, ASA, PA (nylon), and PC reliably: trapped heat prevents the warping and layer splitting that stall open-frame printers on those materials. The 300°C hardened-steel hotend also supports abrasive short-fiber blends such as PLA-CF, PET-CF, and PA-CF.
What does the AMS do on the P1S Combo?
The Combo includes the 4-spool AMS (Automatic Material System), which automatically switches between four filaments mid-print for multi-color or multi-material parts, for example a dissolvable PVA support paired with an engineering body. Chain up to four AMS units through the AMS Hub to run 16 materials in a single print. The AMS also keeps spools sealed with desiccant, which helps with moisture-sensitive filaments.
Is the P1S Combo a closed material system?
No, the P1S Combo is an open system. It prints any 1.75 mm filament, Bambu or third-party, and the AMS is tuned to work best with filament on standard-size spools. You can dial in custom profiles in Bambu Studio for materials we supply, such as CreatBot ABS, PETG, or PA-CF. Our engineers will share a starting profile for your material and machine so you are not guessing at temperatures and flow.
What software does the P1S Combo use, and can I monitor prints remotely?
The P1S Combo slices in Bambu Studio and is also compatible with OrcaSlicer, accepting standard STL and 3MF files. A built-in chamber camera plus the Bambu Handy mobile app let you start, monitor, and timelapse prints remotely over Wi-Fi, and catch a failed print without standing at the machine. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bambu-Bus, and microSD.
Is the P1S Combo suitable for a classroom or shared office?
Yes. The P1S Combo is fully enclosed with activated-carbon filtration, which contains fumes and particulates far better than an open-frame printer, a practical requirement for classrooms, libraries, and shared engineering spaces. It is one of the reasons the P1S is popular for STEM and makerspace deployments. For multi-unit rollouts we configure fleets and standardize material profiles; ask us about education pricing.
What is included in the Combo, and what will I need to buy separately?
The P1S Combo ships with the printer, the 4-spool AMS, a dual-sided textured PEI build plate, a spare 0.4 mm hardened-steel nozzle, and basic tooling. You supply filament; we stock 1.75 mm PLA, PETG, ABS, and engineering grades that run on it. Optional extras include 0.2 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm nozzles and additional build-plate surfaces. Everything ships from US inventory in 1–2 business days.
