Industrial fundamentals, accessible platform

The eForm is compact but not stripped down: open parameters, an eight-zone heated bed and nitrogen atmosphere are the same fundamentals as Farsoon's larger systems. You develop a real, transferable SLS process rather than outgrowing a hobby machine. Additive Plus backs it with validated profiles.

About this product

The Farsoon eForm is a versatile, open-platform SLS system that brings industrial polymer sintering into a compact 9.8 × 9.8 × 12.6 in / 250 × 250 × 320 mm footprint. A high-precision CO₂ laser, eight-zone thermal control and fully open parameters make it a capable step into production SLS for R&D groups, service bureaus and smaller manufacturers. Sold, installed and supported in the US by Additive Plus.

Why teams choose the eForm

An accessible, open SLS platform with industrial fundamentals — not a stripped-down machine.

Open-parameter platform

Full control of laser, scan and thermal parameters via BuildStar / MakeStar® — develop your own process and run any compatible powder, the same open philosophy as Farsoon’s larger systems.

Compact, versatile footprint

A 250 × 250 × 320 mm build in a workshop-friendly frame — an accessible way into industrial SLS for prototyping and smaller production runs.

Broad material range

PA12 nylons, mineral- and carbon-filled grades, glass-bead nylon and Ultrasint PP — the same production materials as the larger platforms.

Even, controlled thermal field

An eight-zone heater with real-time surface-temperature control and nitrogen atmosphere holds an even bed — consistent density and accuracy on every build.

How Additive Plus delivers your eForm

We started SLS on the eForm and the process moved straight onto a 403P as we grew — no re-learning.

For a compact machine it holds accuracy across the bed better than we expected — the heated-bed control is real.

Open parameters let our lab qualify a custom powder — most vendors at this size won't give you that access.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

What is the build volume of the eForm and who is it for?
The Farsoon eForm has a 250 × 250 × 320 mm (9.8 × 9.8 × 12.6 in) build volume in a compact, workshop-friendly frame. It suits R&D groups, service bureaus and smaller manufacturers who want genuine industrial SLS — open parameters, heated bed, nitrogen — without the footprint or cost of a large production system. It is a common first SLS machine that a team can grow a real process on.
Is the eForm an open or closed material system?
The eForm is a fully open platform. You control laser, scan and thermal parameters through BuildStar and MakeStar®, and you are not locked to a single vendor's powder. That makes it well suited to teams developing materials or running qualified third-party powders. Additive Plus helps you develop and validate parameters for each material you run on it.
What materials can the eForm run?
The eForm runs PA12 nylons (FS3300PA, FS4100PA), mineral- and carbon-filled nylons (FS3250MF, FS3150CF), glass-bead nylon (FS3401GB) and Ultrasint PP. These are the same production-grade materials used on Farsoon's larger systems, so a process developed on the eForm transfers upward. Other qualified SLS powders can be run too — ask our engineer about a specific material.
What is the print speed and build rate?
The eForm builds at up to 0.8 L/h with scan speeds to 20 m/s from its 30 W CO₂ laser. That throughput suits prototyping and small-batch production rather than high-volume runs; if you need production speed, the larger 403P or fiber-laser Flight systems are the step up. Additive Plus can estimate build time for a representative job during quoting.
How does the eForm compare to the larger 403P?
The eForm shares the 403P's open platform, heated-bed control and material philosophy, but in a smaller 250 × 250 × 320 mm envelope with a single 30 W CO₂ laser and lower throughput. The 403P offers a 400 mm-class build and higher build rates for production. Many teams start on the eForm and scale to a 403P or Flight system as volumes grow — the process transfers. Additive Plus can help you choose.
What software does the eForm use?
The eForm runs Farsoon's BuildStar (machine control) and MakeStar® (build preparation) on 64-bit Windows 10, with open access to key machine parameters, real-time build-parameter modification, 3D visualisation and diagnostics. Additive Plus trains your operators on both during commissioning so your team is productive from the first builds.
What install, support and power does the eForm need?
The eForm measures 1735 × 1205 × 1975 mm and weighs about 1,700 kg. It runs on 400 V three-phase power; for US sites it ships with the required transformer, and needs a 22–28 °C ambient environment. As the US partner, Additive Plus handles installation, operator training and local warranty service, with a named engineer replying within 24 hours.
