What your process engineer actually checks
Tight diameter, dry, jam-free
Every spool ships with a datasheet covering diameter tolerance, moisture, and a validated print profile for the systems we sell, so feeds stay consistent and parts hold dimension. Load the profile and print.
A materials engineer on the line
Questions on diameter tolerance, moisture, layer adhesion, or warping? A materials engineer answers directly — not a contact-form bot. Most replies in under 4 hours, NDA standard.

Why engineers choose CreatBot Ultra PA Filament
Four things engineers check before standardizing on an engineering nylon.
Tough & fatigue-resistant
Nylon absorbs repeated load and impact without cracking — 86 MPa tensile and 133 MPa flexural strength make it a workhorse for living hinges, gears, and parts that flex in service.
Wear & chemical resistant
Low friction with strong resistance to oils, greases, and many solvents — the reason nylon is standard for gears, bushings, and parts exposed to fuels and lubricants.
±0.02mm diameter tolerance
Tight, consistent diameter means steady extrusion — no mid-print under-extrusion from a loose spot or clogs from a tight one.
Engineering-grade heat tolerance
A high-temperature nylon grade that holds strength in warm service where PLA and PETG soften — for functional parts near motors, drivetrains, and warm enclosures.
How we ship it
Every spool of CreatBot Ultra PA Filament leaves Gardena, CA the same way.
Print profile confirmed
Nozzle and bed temperatures verified on a CreatBot F430 before the spool is listed — not copied from a generic nylon spec sheet.
Sealed with desiccant
Vacuum-bagged with the original desiccant pack — essential for nylon, which absorbs moisture faster than any other filament.
Ships from L.A. stock
In stock at our Gardena facility — 1–2 business day dispatch, datasheet included in the box.
Print compatibility
Runs on an FDM/FFF printer with a heated bed to 90°C and a nozzle rated to 300°C; an enclosure improves results on larger parts. Nylon is strongly hygroscopic — dry the spool before printing, or layers come out weak, rough, and stringy. Full mechanical and thermal property values (tested to ISO 527, ISO 178, ISO 75, and ISO 1183) are listed in the Specifications tab below.
Recommended print settings
| Parameter | Recommended value |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 280°C – 300°C |
| Build plate temperature | 70°C – 90°C |
| Chamber / enclosure | Recommended |
| Print speed | 30 – 50 mm/s |
| Cooling fan | Off or low |
| Nozzle type | Hardened steel or brass · dry before printing |

Typical applications

Storage & handling
Store CreatBot Ultra PA Filament sealed with the desiccant, and dry it before every print — nylon absorbs moisture faster than any other filament. A wet spool prints rough and weak; a dry box during printing keeps quality consistent, especially in humid environments.
