Description

Avi Metal 316L Steel Powder  is produced via advanced gas atomization to ensure a uniform, spherical particle morphology with a particle size range of 15–53 µm. Optimized for LPBF, this powder provides stable recoating, minimal spatter, and predictable layer fusion, supporting consistent build quality across production runs.

The alloy composition (Fe balance, 16.71 % Cr, 10.63 % Ni, 2.3 % Mo) delivers exceptional corrosion resistance and robust mechanical performance after heat treatment: ultimate tensile strength 590 MPa, yield strength 380 MPa, elongation 60 %, and hardness 200 HV. Controlled oxygen levels (≤800 ppm) further enhance powder flow and reproducibility.

Avi Metal 316L Steel Powder  accommodates extensive post-processing, including heat treatment, machining, welding, and polishing, enabling production of precise, functional end-use components.
