The Delfin Mistral 451 BL D2 is an ATEX-certified industrial vacuum for the safe capture of combustible dust and non-reactive metal powder. Built to the D2 dust standard for use in Zone 22 (dust) areas, it uses conductive, grounded construction and an antistatic Class M filter so static cannot build up around ignition-sensitive powder. A 2 kW motor moves 211.9 CFM at 90.1 inH₂O through a 3-inch inlet into a 12-gallon container. It is the unit for stainless, nickel and other non-reactive AM powders and combustible process dust — for reactive metals such as aluminium and titanium, use the inert immersion unit instead.
