What your process engineer actually checks

Large parts in one build

The 33×33×20 in / 850×850×500 mm envelope prints a full fascia pattern, a one-piece mold, or a batch of shoe lasts in a single run — no mid-build stitching, no glued seams to sand out. Most mid-range industrial SLA caps XY at 250–450 mm.

Marble frame, measured accuracy

Recoater frame, elevator holder, and scan base are solid marble for thermal stability and vibration damping across the full 850 mm bed. Part accuracy holds ±0.1 mm under 150 mm and ±0.1%×L above — a fixed structural spec, not a calibration claim. 355 nm solid-state laser, 0.0005 mm vertical resolution.

An applications engineer on the line

Resin selection, print-profile setup, post-cure protocol — answered by engineers who work with these machines, not a remote ticket queue. Sub-24h response, NDA standard.

Why teams specify the 850Pro

The four things a production engineer checks before committing a large-format SLA platform.

Large parts in one build

The 33×33×20 in / 850×850×500 mm envelope prints a full fascia pattern, a one-piece mold or a batch of shoe lasts in a single run — no stitching, no glued seams to sand out. Most mid-range industrial SLA caps XY at 250–450 mm.

Full-marble frame, measured accuracy

Marble across the recoater frame, elevator holder and scan base damps vibration and holds temperature — part accuracy holds ±0.1 mm under 150 mm, ±0.1%×L above, over the whole 850 mm bed.

Solid-state 355 nm laser, variable beam

An Nd:YVO4 355 nm UV laser with a 0.075–0.8 mm variable beam narrows for detail and widens for fast flood-fill in the same job — scanning to 15.0 m/s across the large bed.

Intelligent vacuum recoating

Position-aware vacuum recoating lays a uniform resin film with no blade contact on the part surface — consistent layers across a full 850 mm span regardless of geometry.

How Additive Plus delivers your 850Pro

Configured to your resins, installed and calibrated on-site, printing on day one.

Step 01
Configure resin & profile

We match the qualified resin family — ABS-like, durable, high-toughness, rubber-like or clear — to your parts. Parameters are preset at the machine level.

Step 02
Install, calibrate & train

A factory-trained technician handles setup, laser calibration and operator training on-site in the US — not a drop-ship.

Step 03
Benchmark before you commit

Send your hardest geometry and target resin — we print a benchmark part on industrial SLA so you judge surface finish and accuracy in hand.

Qualified resin library

Resin Type Typical use
KS908C ABS-like General engineering, functional prototypes
KS408A Durable ABS Snap-fit assemblies, jigs and fixtures
KS608C High-toughness Drop-test and impact-resistant parts
KS198S Rubber-like (flexible) Gaskets, soft grips, wearables
KS168C / KS158T Clear / UV-clear Optics mock-ups, fluid-flow housings

Print parameters are preset for standard resins — no open-parameter development required. Ask our applications team about biocompatible and castable options for the 850Pro platform. See the full specification table below.

★★★★★

We print full fascia patterns in one piece now — no more splitting a panel and bonding the halves. Surface off the marble frame is consistent enough that our finishers barely touch it.

★★★★★

Accuracy holds across the whole 850 mm bed. We measured a full-arch batch and everything came in inside ±0.1 mm. The vacuum recoater means no witness lines on flat surfaces.

Install and calibration were done in a day and the machine was printing production parts by the afternoon. Having engineers who actually run SLA answer the phone made qualification quick.

Common questions

Don't see yours? Email [email protected] — NDA standard, typical reply within 4 hours.

What build volume does the Kings 850Pro offer?
The Kings 850Pro prints at 850×850×500 mm (33×33×20 in) — a large square envelope that fits a full automotive fascia panel, a batch of shoe lasts, or a one-piece pattern without mid-build stitching or Z-seam artifacts.
Which resins are qualified for the Kings 850Pro?
Kings3D qualifies ABS-like (KS908C), durable ABS (KS408A), high-toughness (KS608C), rubber-like (KS198S), and clear (KS168C, KS158T) resins. Biocompatible and castable options are available — contact our team for the current validated list.
What does installation include, and what is the lead time?
Lead time is typically 2–3 months from order placement. Installation includes on-site setup, laser calibration, resin loading, and operator training by a factory-trained technician. Service and maintenance contracts are available.
Can I test the Kings 850Pro before committing?
Yes. Send your part files and our in-house 3D printing service will print samples in the resin of your choice, so you can evaluate surface finish and accuracy on a real part before you commit. For qualified buyers we can also arrange an on-site demo or a live print review of the Kings 850Pro before purchase.
What layer thickness and surface finish does the Kings 850Pro produce?
The Kings 850Pro prints at 0.05–0.25 mm layer thickness with 0.0005 mm vertical resolution. Its intelligent-position vacuum recoater lays a uniform resin film with no blade contact against the part, so flat surfaces come off the machine without witness lines or Z-seam artifacts. Surface finish is smooth enough that most patterns, models, and lasts need only light hand-finishing before use or moldmaking.
Why does the Kings 850Pro use a marble frame?
The Kings 850Pro's recoater frame, elevator holder, and scanning-system base are solid marble. Across a large 850 mm bed, marble's thermal stability and vibration damping keep the optical path and build platform aligned through long jobs, which is what holds part accuracy at ±0.1 mm for features under 150 mm and ±0.1%×L above that. It is a structural property of the machine, not a calibration setting that drifts between builds.
What post-processing does the Kings 850Pro require, and does Additive Plus supply it?
Parts printed on the Kings 850Pro are drained, washed to remove uncured resin, then UV post-cured to reach full mechanical properties. Large-format builds need a wash tank and cure chamber sized to the part — a desktop cure box will not fit an 850 mm panel. Additive Plus can spec and supply matched wash-and-cure equipment with the machine, and our engineers will set the post-cure protocol for each qualified resin.
