Description
Avi Metal AlSi10Mg is aluminium apowder and engineered via vacuum induction melting gas atomization (VIGA) to deliver a spherical powder with tight particle size distribution (15–53 µm). Optimized for LPBF, it ensures smooth recoating, minimal spatter, and stable layer fusion across builds.
The Al–Si–Mg composition (Al balance, 10.19 % Si, 0.35 % Mg) provides excellent mechanical performance after heat treatment: UTS 300 MPa, yield strength 185 MPa, and 12 % elongation. Low oxygen levels (≤600 ppm) support consistent flow and predictable processing.
Avi Metal AlSi10Mg is compatible with a wide range of post-processing methods, including heat treatment, machining, welding, and surface finishing, enabling the production of complex, functional, end-use parts.
