Vibratory finishing cycle
The circular vibrator runs at up to 1500 rpm, tumbling parts against the media to deburr, smooth and matte the surface evenly.

Centrifuge clean & recirculate
The integrated centrifuge cleans parts and the process water recirculates in a closed loop — clean, finished parts come out ready to inspect.

Is the M4 a blasting machine?
No — the AM Solutions M4 is a vibratory mass-finishing system, not a blaster. Parts tumble with finishing media and a compound in a circular vibrator, which smooths, deburrs, mattes and cleans surfaces. It also integrates a cleaning centrifuge and process-water recirculation, so it is a 2-in-1 finishing plus water-treatment machine rather than a media blaster.
Which materials and processes is the M4 for?
The M4 finishes both metal and plastic 3D-printed parts — SLA, SLS, MJF and SLM among them. It is used to deburr, smooth, matte and clean parts after printing. An Additive Plus applications engineer can recommend the media and compound for your material and target finish.
What part sizes and batch volume does the M4 handle?
The M4 has a 120 L machining volume with a 273 mm working-channel width and an 820 mm outer diameter. It handles parts up to roughly Ø185 mm maximum diagonal, with a batch volume up to about 23 L of components. It is built for larger parts and batches than the entry-level M1.
Does the M4 need a water connection?
No. The M4 integrates process-water recirculation (around 45–60 L capacity), so it runs without a fresh-water supply or a waste-water drain. That makes it mobile and plug-and-play — you can place it on the production floor and start finishing without plumbing work.
What finishing processes can the M4 run?
The M4 performs smoothing, deburring, matting and cleaning, using in-house developed media and compounds matched to the part. Because parameters are set on an Industry 4.0-ready HMI, results are repeatable batch to batch rather than dependent on operator judgment.
How loud is the M4 and where can it go?
The M4 runs below 69 dB(A), quiet enough for a normal production environment, and needs no installation or plumbing. It is mobile, so it can sit next to a printer cell or move between workstations as your finishing needs change.
