PA6
What your process engineer actually checks
Dry, stable melt, big-part ready
Every batch ships with a datasheet covering melt flow, moisture, recycled content, and recommended drying and extrusion parameters, so large-format prints stay dimensionally stable. Dial the line in once, reorder the same pellet.
A materials engineer on the line
Questions on drying schedules, melt flow, recyclate ratios, warpage, or fiber content? A materials engineer answers directly — not a contact-form bot. Most replies in under 4 hours, NDA standard.
A flame retardant polyammide (V0 class according to UL94), it has been certified for several sectors such as railways sector (EN45545).
Polyamide 6 (PA6) is the most common extruded polyamide. It is known in industry for its good damping properties and impact resistance, as well as good toughness at low temperatures. It is ideal for bearings and gears, for example, as they would run quietly.
This material combines mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance.
PA6 pellets do not incorporate recycled or reclaimed material. Thanks to these qualities, PA6 pellets are perfect for 3D printing, achieving high print quality. There are several methods for using pellets in 3D printing:
PA6 pellets can be used in the manufacture of filament for FDM 3D printers.
It is possible to use a pellet extruder for 3D printing directly.
PA6 pellets have a high sensitivity to humidity and should be kept in dry conditions (relative humidity of 20% or less) at all times. For optimal results, it is recommended to read the product usage advice.
PA6 pellets are designed for best results in 3D printing and is an ideal material for use in the automotive industry or for functional prototyping.

We source and qualify. Custom blends on request.
Need a fiber-filled, recycled-content, or color-matched pellet, or parameters for a system we don't list yet? Our materials team qualifies the blend and prints test parts before you commit. Typical lead 2–4 weeks.
From process engineers running PA6
Unedited feedback from customers who reorder PA6.
Drying and extrusion parameters were spot on. A 1.5 m part came off dimensionally stable.
Asked about recycled-content limits for a structural part. A materials engineer gave us real numbers.
Melt is consistent batch to batch. Big-format builds repeat without re-tuning.
