Installation and commissioning in the USA: facility and gas planning, start-up and operator training by our US service team.
What your process engineer actually checks
Full-coverage dual lasers
Each of the two 500 W lasers reaches the entire build area, so a tall single part gets both of them and a nested plate gets intelligent distribution. No fixed seam your geometry has to dodge.
An applications engineer on the line
Not a ticket queue — engineers who run LPBF in production in-house at AO Metal. Alloy qualification, parameter development, troubleshooting. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.
The Farsoon FS301M pairs a 12.0×12.0×16.1 in / 305×305×410 mm build cylinder with a dual-laser scanning strategy where each laser covers the entire build area. One large part or a plate of small ones — the machine distributes the work rather than splitting the plate down the middle.

Why engineers choose the FS301M
Four things your process engineer will check first.
Each laser covers the whole plate
Full-coverage dual-laser scanning with calibration algorithms. A tall single part gets both lasers, and a nested plate gets intelligent distribution — not a fixed seam at the centre that your part has to avoid.
Sealed powder handling, one shared container
An integrated powder-loading dock keeps material under inert atmosphere, and one container covers loading, unloading and sieving. Less exposure for the operator and less transfer between stations.
3.61 m² with front and rear access only
The FS301M needs no side clearance, so machines pack tighter than the footprint alone suggests. The integrated filter runs up to 1500 hours between changes.
Pre-heated plate, electric levelling, vision system
Process control details that decide repeatability: a heated base plate, electric levelling and a vision system, with real-time monitoring and an airtight chamber.
How we deliver and support it
What happens between the purchase order and your first qualified part.
Scope the cell
We size the configuration against your part mix, then plan power, argon or nitrogen supply and extraction with your facilities team. Machine envelope is 92.9×60.2×84.6 in / 2360×1530×2150 mm; EUR/China: 400V±10%, 3~/N/PE, 50Hz, 15A. The US transformer ships with the machine.
Install and train in the USA
Commissioning and operator training by our US service team. First builds are run together, so your operators hand over parts rather than a checklist.
Parameters, spares, engineer
Validated parameter sets for your alloy, US-held spares, and an applications engineer who has run LPBF in production in-house at AO Metal. Sub-4h reply, NDA standard.
What the FS301M is built for
Dual-Laser Metal LPBF with Full-Coverage Scanning. The FS301M runs one or two 500 W lasers, each covering the full build area over a 12.0×12.0×16.1 in / 305×305×410 mm build envelope. Full specifications are in the Specifications tab below.

Qualified materials
Farsoon lists 316L, 17-4PH, 420, HX, IN718, AlSi10Mg, TA15 and Ti6Al4V, with HAYNES 230 in process development for the FS301M. Because the platform is open, a grade outside that list is a parameter development project rather than a dead end, and one we can run with you. The alloys we stock are lot-certified and held in the USA.
