What your process engineer actually checks
Locked, traceable lot chemistry
A COA on request documents PSD, sphericity, flow rate, apparent density, and full chemistry — and a lot number you can trace.
A materials engineer on the line
Questions on ferrite content, flowability, recyclate ratios, or HIP response? A materials engineer answers directly — not a contact-form bot. NDA standard.
CNPC Powder · Inconel 718 · LPBF metal powder
CNPC Inconel 718 — the most-printed nickel superalloy — high strength, creep and fatigue resistance up to about 700 °C, for turbomachinery, rocket and high-temperature parts. Sold by Additive Plus in 10 kg containers at a published price.
Made by CNPC Powder. Gas-atomized nickel-based superalloy powder from CNPC Powder’s own atomization plant in Fengyang, China. CNPC is ISO 9001 certified, a member of MPIF and EPMA, and exports metal powders to more than 40 countries. Additive Plus sells and supports it in the US: you order and pay here, and our materials engineer answers your questions.
Powder at a glance
Why teams run it
High-temperature strength
Age-hardenable nickel superalloy that keeps its strength, creep and fatigue resistance at elevated temperature.
Prints complex hot parts
Excellent weldability makes it one of the most printable superalloys — impellers, manifolds and injectors with internal cooling.
Named manufacturer, COA on request
Made by CNPC Powder and shipped in sealed 10 kg containers with the lot’s certificate of analysis — you know exactly whose powder is in your machine.
Published price, 10 kg packs
$90/kg in a 10 kg pack, ordered online — no account, no mill-size minimum. Larger quantities quoted on request.
What you can print

Representative examples of LPBF parts in this alloy family.
Where it’s used
- Turbomachinery — impellers, blades, vanes and seals.
- Space & propulsion — injectors, combustion chambers, manifolds.
- Oil & gas — downhole and high-pressure components.
- High-temperature tooling — fixtures and inserts for hot service.
How LPBF printing works
1 · Load & printFill the dispenser and run your Inconel 718 parameter set — a laser melts each layer of powder under inert gas.
2 · Stress-relieve & removeStress-relieve on the plate, then cut parts off and remove supports.
3 · Heat-treat & finishApply the heat treatment your spec calls for, then machine, blast or polish. Sieve and reuse the unmelted powder.

FAQ
What is the minimum order?
One 10 kg container. For larger quantities, write to us for a volume quote.
When will it ship?
After you place your order we confirm availability and the ship date by email. If that date does not work for you, we cancel the order and refund it in full.
Which printers can run it?
Any open LPBF system with parameters for Inconel 718 — for example EOS, SLM/Nikon SLM, Renishaw, Farsoon, and our own AO Metal printers. We share recommended starting parameters; you tune them on your machine.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes — on request: a certificate of analysis (COA) for the lot, with its chemistry and particle-size data.
Who makes this powder?
CNPC Powder, a metal-powder manufacturer with its own atomization plant in Fengyang, China. Additive Plus sells and supports it in the US.
