What your process engineering lead actually checks
Supported by the team that runs it
We run AO Metal and partner systems daily for our own print services, so install, training, and first builds are handled by engineers who actually operate the machine. When you call support, you reach the team that qualified it.
An applications engineer on the line
Questions on build volume, laser config, throughput, or material compatibility? A named applications engineer scopes it directly — not a sales rep. Most replies in under 4 hours, NDA standard.
Industrial metal AM,
without the industrial footprint.
The Farsoon FS121M is a compact metal LPBF system with a fully open platform — unlocked parameters and free powder choice — built for dental, medical and material-development teams moving into production-grade metal additive.
Laser300–500 W fiber
Your parameters. Your powder. No lock-in.
Most metal systems lock you to the vendor’s parameters and powders. The FS121M unlocks both — full control of laser, scan and layer parameters, and freedom to run any qualified powder. For R&D and material development, that freedom is the whole point.
Open-parameter metal LPBF
Real-time build-parameter modification, 3D visualization and diagnostics via BuildStar / MakeStar® — develop and qualify your own process, on your own materials.
Free powder choice
Develop & qualify your own process
Small footprint, low ancillary needs
Glove box option for reactive metals
Dynamic focusing scanner · oversized protective filtration · inert-gas supply.

Small frame, real industrial output
A compact LPBF system that fits a normal workspace with minimal ancillary equipment — production-grade metal parts without a dedicated AM hall.
- ▲
Fine detail & density
Fine spot size and 20 µm layers produce dense, accurate parts — eliminating the surface and structural defects of casting.
- ◎
10+ metal alloys
316L, 17-4PH, Ti6Al4V, AlSi10Mg, Maraging 300, CoCrMoW/CoCrMo, Cu, CuSn10, HX — and more.

Proven in dental production
Dental labs run multiple FS121M systems for fully digital CoCrMoW crown production — scanning to printed parts.
An accessible way into production metal additive.
Lower entry, real production
A small-frame system and reduced ancillary equipment bring industrial metal LPBF within reach of dental labs, research groups and product teams.
Open for material development
Unlocked parameters + free powder choice make the FS121M a genuine R&D and material-qualification platform, not a closed appliance.
Dental serial production
Up to 16 crowns in ~3 hours from a fully digital scan-to-part workflow — replacing slow, defect-prone casting.

Dense, detailed metal parts.
From dental crowns to turbomachinery test parts — complex geometries in production metals.

Manufacturer specifications for the Farsoon FS121M compact metal LPBF system.
A metal system is only as good as the team behind it.
We’re the California-based official Farsoon partner — installation, training and process support, not just a shipment.
Official US Farsoon partner
Buy from the US representative — sales, commissioning, operator training and warranty handled here in your timezone, not shipped and self-installed from overseas.
Powder & parameters
We help source qualified powders and develop parameters on the open platform — the freedom only pays off with support.
Warranty & service, local
Manufacturer warranty and service handled in the US — no shipping a 700 kg system overseas.

Questions, answered.
How much is the FS121M and how do I get a quote? +
The FS121M is configured to your application (laser power, options, materials, US power), so pricing is by quote. Request a quote above or talk to an engineer — a named Additive Plus engineer replies within 24 hours with configuration and pricing.
What does “open platform” mean? +
Unlike closed metal systems, the FS121M unlocks machine parameters (laser, scan, layer) and lets you run any qualified powder. You can develop and qualify your own process and materials — ideal for R&D and material development.
Which metals can it print? +
316L, 17-4PH, Ti6Al4V, AlSi10Mg, Maraging Steel 300, CoCrMoW, CoCrMo, Cu, CuSn10, HX — and, because it’s open, other qualified powders. We help source and qualify materials.
Is it suitable for dental production? +
Yes — dental labs run FS121M systems for CoCrMoW crowns and frameworks, around 16 crowns per ~3-hour build in a fully digital scan-to-part workflow. The FS121M-E configuration is tuned for dental.
What space and power does it need? +
It’s a small-frame system: 780 × 1000 × 1700 mm, ~700 kg, with low ancillary needs. It ships to the US with the required transformer; we handle installation in your facility.
What support comes with it? +
As the US Farsoon partner, Additive Plus provides installation, operator training, parameter and powder support, application/DfAM help and local warranty service.
