What is the xWASH FiM used for?
The xWASH FiM is the demolding and wash station for Nexa3D's Freeform Injection Molding (FIM) workflow. After you injection-mold into a printed xMOLD soluble tool, the xWASH FiM dissolves the mold away and cleans the finished part. This 102 L industrial unit is sized for larger parts and higher throughput.
How is the 102 L industrial different from the 46 L desktop?
Both dissolve xMOLD molds and wash FIM parts; the difference is capacity. The 102 L industrial station handles larger parts and higher quantities for production, while the 46 L desktop version suits lower volumes and tighter spaces. Choose based on your part size and throughput.
Does the xWASH FiM require special infrastructure?
It is designed to integrate into a FIM production cell. It currently shows as on backorder — contact us and we will confirm the current lead time, site requirements, and how it fits alongside your XiP printer and xMOLD resin.
